View is fantastic. Staffs are friendly and the service is good. Food wise, love the tom yum soup and omelette. Fish was average. And oh, I must say the plain rice is perfect - we have been in thailand for awhile and not all places get the rice right. Ordered their fried crispy fish, river prawn tom yam soup and omelette with shiitake mushrooms and all of them are good with the best being the omelette. Their tom yam is the clear soup version but it’s flavorful. The fish though isn’t anything special but good nonetheless. Environment here is very good with live band and outdoor facing a vast mountainous area. Service is outstanding too although most of them couldn’t communicate in English. Had lunch at the restaurant. Quiet place, we were the only couple there. Food is OK but on pricy side. Grill prawn is qute good, fish can give it a miss. Quiet a bit of flies and a few cats roaming around. Waiter was friendly and service was prompt. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ฿1,000+

One of the dozens of resorts in the area. This one is pretty nice with a plethora of flowering plants and orchids. The owner must like them as there are lots of Brugmansia shrubs everywhere. I can only imagine the perfume at night. There are lots of fragrant plants everywhere. We did not stay here as it was a bit pricey but we could tell that it’s a quiet place with lots of privacy for couples. We had an al fresco lunch here and the food was pretty decent. Mostly local specialties. We had local steamed veggies with a local salsa made of pickled peppers and minced fish, deep fried mushroom omelette, crispy fried chunks of skin on pork shank with salad and spicy dipping sauce. Great views!

Average food. Review seems overly hype. We ordered the famous crispy fish , to me it's too salty we both couldn't eat it. Egg was good fluffy with mushroom. But too some can be considered too oily. Fried chicken was not good. We left immediately because the large house flies was super annoying.
