Very typical Portuguese cafe which bakes its own pastries and nata cakes. Great ambience with seating both inside and outside at the edge of the town square. Very good coffee, better than the over milked coffee they serve in most Spanish cafes. Service with a smile.

This is a snack bar tucked away down a side street - well away from the tourist restaurants in the main square. Locals eat here. I ordered fried squid and expected those rubbery circles covered in batter - I got a plate of baby squid fried in oil and garlic. My wife ordered tuna - and got a slab of grilled tuna steak with a bulb of garlic chopped over it. We had pastel de natas and coffee for dessert - the pastries are home made and the best I have had in Portugal. More tourists should come here for lunch - it's just behind the Santander bank..

2x geweest dan viel het mee, maar derde maal werd ik met weinig zin verder geholpen dus dit was dan ook de laatste maal dat we er naartoe geweest zijn. Meal type Breakfast Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
