LOVED Randy’s Diner! Great food and even better service! Everyone on the dining room floor had a smile and checked on us often. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I got a hot beef sandwich and it was so good! Comes with taters and gravy of course, coleslaw and mixed veggie. You can sub the coleslaw for a side salad for $1 more....really like that option. My boyfriend got a Rachel, but with corned beef instead of turkey. Everything was very good. We finished our plates which is nothing but a good thing! Definitely going back! Cool place that seems to be a local hangout spot, exactly what I was looking for. Had the hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, and greenbeans, and coffee. Think the beans were frozen and didn't like them. The place is a little dated but I don't mind that as long as food is good, and it was. I will definitely return again when in area, I love the old time dinners and this place fits that profile, if you're looking for a layed back place with good food and lots of seating, good service check out Randys. Small local diner with hand made pies and muffins for sale. Along with standard diner dishes for breakfast and lunch. The staff was friendly and quick with service. I ordered the breakfast and it was tasty. Only negative was many of the items on the table and the menu's were sticky or had some yuk on them. Other then that my coffee never ran dry. I had the Gyro, and it was middling at best. My grandmother had the Reuben sandwich and enjoyed it. Service was good. We unfortunately chose to come in right before a rush, right between lunch and breakfast. Fast, friendly, and delicious. Ham and bean soup was delicious. Club sammich also top notch. Bread super soft but tasted homemade. Fries screaming hot and crispy. Excellent all around. In my opinion this is one of the top breakfast places in Northern Michigan! Great hole in the wall. Awesome food! And the prices cannot be beat! The coffee keeps on coming and the service is friendly and fast! This is definitely my new favorite in Traverse and will be back again and again!
