It is indeed the best steak that you can find. Very nice and professional staff and small waiting time for the food. If you ask for meat it will be allways cooked how you ask. The burgers are also the best, far away from anything else that you can find. You can choose from a large variety of wines. The restaurant is so close to our hotel.it has a good vibes, friendly personell and delicious meal. The burger with fries was affordable so give it a try og you visit Ålesund.

First of all we ordered a 7-up and a coke 7-up came back sugarfree wich is a small problem but not a big deal. Then the waiting time for food was long considering we were the only people there. We ordered BBQ ribs with coleslwa garlic bread and a potato grateng. The ribs came without coleslaw so we asked for the coleslaw and they said they were out... and the potato gratent was horrible... Had booked a table in advance, when we arrived the table we had booked was not available, so we were allocated another table, but this was not ready so we had to wait until it was washed and ready. It took some time before we ordered food, and even longer before we got the food, had to wait up to 1 hour before the food was served. The food was quite decent, generous portions. Potatoes were not included in the dish, but had to be ordered as a side dish, which was somewhat unusual for us. Dont get influenced by negative reviews here. Give this place a chance because burgers are really good for their price, big and tasty. Its not that kind of fancy shiny looking burger you get for 300+ nok, but its honestly tasty and fresh. We waited for food about max 15mins. We took a chance, as we’ve been eating a lot of seafood in Norway, but unfortunately many of the mediocre reviews are correct. The steak was not seasoned and was definitely over cooked - we ordered medium rare. The bernaise sauce came in a side dish and was actually cold. The baked potato and salad were ok. The two servers were trying, but they clearly needed help. The burgers looked like they might be good. Save yourself the disappointment. This is not anything close to a real American steak.
