For a Saturday night, there was only one cook. The service was very bad. You had to ask for refills on drinks. The cocktails were watered down. Meals came out one plate at a time and was missing did items. This was worse than that one time at Golden Coral in Flowood. THIS LOCATION HAS PROBLEMS! Friday evening about 8 pm. We were told it was a 45 min wait, although they were virtually empty. The one couple already waiting told us to take their spot and left. I should have followed their lead. Everyone was bunched up in one corner, and about 75% of the restaurant was unoccupied. Total of 8 small parties in the restaurant with 4 waitresses serving. After a very slow service and mediocre food, I gave the waitress my credit card. 10 minutes later, she comes back and says she is waiting on a manager to get off the phone to run my card. I gave her cash and took my card back. 10 more minutes and she finally returns with my $45 in change. Says she couldn't get into the register because the manager was still on the phone, but she managed to scrape up my change. I'm not sure what the real problems were but I do know that not one of the 5 tables that left before me was bussed and cleaned up. That is likely why I was swatting the fly off my plate. To begin with there were only 3 workers in the whole place, one being the cook, when we arrived we were told there was only one server working, we were asked to wait before being seated, so that the server would not be overworked, despite the fact that there were plenty of open tables. We ordered our food, which when it arrived at the table, was incomplete and was asked to wait on the rest of the meal, that never arrived. I had Lobster and shrimp, the lobster was the size of a large shrimp, the taste wasn't the best. The best part of the meal was the biscuits that were served before the actual meal. I don't mind spending money on a good meal, but to spend money on a bland, tasteless, incomplete meal, really tells me I don't need to go here again. My family and I spent $144.00, when we left the restaurant, I was ready to go get something to eat and did just that. I'm not a big guy I only weigh 165 lbs. So Red Lobster I am done with your restaurant and will not be in another of your establishments. By the way, the part of the meal we were asked to wait on, was never served to us, so I paid and we walked out. Thank you for ruining what could have been a good meal and money well spent. Not sure what happened to this place compared to a few years ago but it fell off in a big way. My wife ordered a sirloin steak medium rare and what she got was clearly well done to a crisp. Out of everything we ordered the best was the caso crab dip and mozzarella sticks sadly. For the price of everything for a night out for 2 adults and a 3 year old was WAY overpriced. Save yourself the trip here and go to Half Shell Oyster House or somewhere else if you’re craving seafood. I went here a week ago and still astonished on the service. We get sat down with the server named Macala. Her service was HORRIBLE. She was cussing out the poor host and our table as well. We kept asking for stuff but kept rolling her eyes and yelling in the kitchen. The manager was no help at all.. kept giving excuses for her behavior. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
