Used to be one of the best bars of LPB, but since the new owner arrived, it is getting terrible. No more pool table, weird vibe in the bar... Best to go to Outback from now on. Atmosphere: 1

We went yesterday for Happy Hour after we had been there a few times before. We found out the hard way that there is a new owner who is the most rude and unpleasant person. Since ownership changed, note this is no longer the bar it used to be. Unaware of new owner ,menu and prices, we ordered french fries with our beer. When finally the "frech fries" came out to the table (beer was long gone, but ok) it turned out to be a completely different potato dish , soacked in oil and covered in batter (like a fish and chip kind of thing). The waiter insisted that we try it even though it was not french fries so we did and it was so greasy that we cound not eat it. When we tried to explain the owner that these are no french fries he rudely dismissed and insisted that it is - go figure. Anyway, we returned the dish and the charge of 65K! showed up in our bill. I went and asked him why does he charge and he screemed and me : YOU ORDER YOU HAVE TO PAY! in the most rude and revolting way. We paid the bill as there are better fights to pick but be aware not to go there and spend your money in places where you get good service and not yelled at. Owner, note for you- tourists are more then a wallet, good luck! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Mr Steve does red bull good corner street bar lots of seating great breeze on the corner draught if you want but if it's beer Lao keep to the bottle unless it's a 5 star hotel ex crown plaza Vientiane try the draught it could be good Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
