The place you must go to when in Siquijor!
Amazing place, yummy cuisine, craft beers, lay-down set up yet tasteful deco and convivial atmosphere… and the view!
But most special shout out for the incredibly friendly and hard worker staff (specially Ivy 🫶🏼).

It's the perfect place to chill and watch the sunset. Good craft beer, food (sisig is a must try!), and good service, too! Thanks to Dianne for accommodating our requests. We will definitely come back.

My husband and I spent a month in the fabulous accommodation at Republika and loved every moment. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom enormous and we loved spending time on the patio with views of the sea. It was wonderful to go to sleep each night with the sound of the waves. It is indeed in a tropical paradise.
We ate regularly at the restaurant here and everything was delicious - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service is amazing and the view from the beach bar exceptional. The sunsets!
My husband updated his scuba skills with the dive operator, Siquijor Divers, on site and spent many happy days under the water.
I cannot praise Republika highly enough. The staff are first class. The attention to detail is superb. The setting is sensational. We would have happily stayed another month.

We watched the beautiful sunset here. There's a sea view. There's a net bed which is a perfect spot for the sea view. We ordered cocktails which were cheap and good. Also look at their restroom, I bet the Kapre is having the best time of his life.

Tried their craft beer sampler. Definitely a bang for your buck. The beachfront is rocky, no shore here. But if you swim ahead there is a marine sanctuary you can snorkel to. Closes early so make sure to come for happy hour.

Hands down the best place to get breakfast/lunch or dinner in San Juan. The prices are affordable compared to the restaurants down the street and the food is over the top good. the tofu scramble and the sunset bowl were my favorites (i’m vegetarian). The views, the vibes, & the cuisine are all amazing - we ended up eating here the entire time even tho we didn’t stay at the hotel. Highly recommend!!

Great little bar with some interesting craft beer choices, though I mainly come off the excellent salt and pepper wings! The place is generally pretty quiet but can liven up from time to time.

Location is very nice. Atmosphere is good. You order at the bar en despite the fact the place was nearly empty, they mixed up drinks, and it took about 45min to prepare our cocktails and 90minutes to bring our food. However I am sure I could have been unlucky, I got sick the night after becaise of the hamburger.
This is place is part of - or affiliated to - Baha Bar down the street. Went went to Baha Bar (which shares the same menu) days before and service and food was impeccable. I am sure the Republika Bar could be one of the best around, so I hope this helps them to improve!

Worst customer experience ever. I don't write reviews that often but this one needs to be documented. Went there around 8am to try their breakfast. Upon arriving, I was initially ignored by the male server. I greeted him good morning, he half-heartedly greeted me back. The tables by the bar were occupied so we sat by one of the tables closer to the beach. The female server (petite, round glasses, tattoo on lower arm) definitely saw us and proceeded to ignore us for the next 5 minutes. My sister then went to the bar and asked for the menu. The female server didn't even bother to look at my sister and pointed to the menu piled on the side of the bar. We then decided to not eat here anymore and left. Upon walking out, the female server just looked at us - no smile, very passive aggressive face, no acknowledgement whatsoever. So disappointing to experience this kind of customer service so early in the morning on an island where people are generally super nice. Don't waste your money here - lots of other places with way better customer service! Bitaog restaurant (glamping area), monkey business, Shaka, Jainin's cafe have the most amazing servers. Something the servers in Republika bar are failing at big time.
Saw this place advertised after a meal at Baha Bar so checked it out and enjoyed a couple of delicious breakfasts here. Great location, relaxed vibe and good service from Diana & Ivy 😊
