Every item we ordered was out of the world tasty and flavorful! The frozen coconut mojito with a hint of mint is totally unique as is the conch cooked in butter and garlic sauce. Also recommended are the chicken mofongo, fish fillet, fried calamari, fish nuggets and flan. The ambience is cozy with these cute ceiling hanging lights over each table and the service is also terrific ! 10 out of 10 ! If the food hadn’t made me vomit four times the night that we ate there, maybe would’ve given this place 3 stars. Except the prices are exorbitant. I ordered a grilled fish and started feeling nauseated two hours after we finished eating. We also waited one hour for our drinks to arrive. ONE HOUR. For a margarita and a beer. When we asked one waitress about the status she responded that it’s “not [her] problem, it’s the bartender’s problem”. They also didn’t have like 6 items that were on the menu which maybe is a fresh seafood restaurant thing but then maybe you should put it on the board outside so people don’t wait 30 minutes to be seated to then find that half the menu isn’t available. I’m attaching a pic of the food which didn’t taste half bad but do you also want a picture of my vomit? Basically: FOOD POISONING. SLOW AF. BAD SERVICE. OVERPRICED. Can I just say, we had the best food ever! The lobster with cilantro rice was spectacular . My husband had the lobster with curry rice and he absolutely hands down was obsessed it the taste. We also had the fish bites that were fresh. Everything is fresh!!! Glad we came and definitely will repeat the visit. The waitress Kay, was really good. El Pescador is so fun! Incredible food and fun atmosphere. Even had live music (a keyboard - shout out to Tony!). We tried to eat here two nights in a row, but they were full the next night. Will be back next year! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely love this restaurant and we did come twice in a row. The food is reasonably priced and the fried fish is the best among all I have tried (stayed for a week on this island)! The vegetables comes with mango and vinegar blended flavor which taste delightful and fresh. One thing you might need to watch out - mosquitoes! That is the only caveat. This restaurant is cute and fun, but service was just miserably slow. Food was not worth the price and sitting there for 2 hours. Half our table's food came 30 minutes later than the other, so we had to sit and watch each other eat . Go somewhere else! *** Response to the owner. Hard to ask for the owner when you can barely get the server's attention just to get water or to even pay for the food. I had no problem with the mandatory tip, but maybe that's part of the problem with the motivation of the service. Just thinking ahead through what people need would help with the service....the lack of water refilling , for example some solutions : have bigger water cups so people don't need refills/ automatically bring water to the table for all when you greet guests/ bring a pitcher or flip top cold water jug for people to refill their own. Maybe you could do just counter service instead of table service? Then pay your staff a lot more and not have to worry with all the running around and tips Just some suggestions, I do think this place could be lovely with some changes! Stopped here for dinner after finishing a bioluminescent bay tour. The seafood was so fresh. I had the deshelled lobster with coconut pineapple rice and demolished it. This is fresh food, the owner himself is the fisherman, you will not get fresher and the prices are very affordable. He took care of our table, we all eat lobster. I recommend this place and will definitely return. Be aware that they cook at the order, so enjoy some drinks and appetizers before.

LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE! Delicious food (which is vegetarian friendly!) And massive yummy drinks. Very courteous wait staff and Amazing atmosphere. It's also one of the few places that was open on a week night ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A delicious place with name even more delicious presentation and service. The food was amazing and fresh and we loved the hospitality of the staff. They put care into the presentation and made us feel welcomed. They gave good recommendations as well. I had the shark nuggets and the drinks were delicious. The Sangria was watermelonwith hints of mango and passionfruit, Pina colada was also good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
