My original destination for dinner was closed, and this restaurant was the closest option. The pictures looked ok. I entered as the staff was in the midst of prayer. I patiently waited for him to finish as I was conscious of being a rude American! The wait was worth it. The young man cooked and served me the best vegetarian meal I could have hoped for😍 I know I was early for dinner, so it wasn't busy. It was nice to have home cooking at a restaurant. The food at this place is amazing!! Everything is tasty, properly seasoned and very elegantly served. The staff is very nice and helpful, you can easily communicate in English. A hidden gem. The fruit cocktails are all freshly made and full of flavor. The mains are preceded by a cream soup that prepares for the feast to come. Mains are flavourful and generous. And to close it off we were served mint tea. A huge huge disappointment !! How they have a rate of 4,9? I don’t know honestly. First of all they took so much time to clean the table and take the order, then as starters they bring a plate with a tiny tiny quantity of mayonnaise and spicy sauce like really less then a spoon of coffee, i had to ask that they bring more of spicy sauce. Then most of as we ordered escalope with cream, we got escalope with béchamel cream, french fries, and cold rice. Sorry but the quality was so so bad, no taste, you feel like eating some milk with flour, nothing more, the rice was worse. When we finished they brought green tea. Unfortunately i don t recommend this place. They need to improve their quality according to their prices! Hey 👋 I’m from Egypt Alexandria 🇪🇬 and was in Djerba for a transit and I got the best experience ever in this beautiful restaurant which I suppose it’s a family business cause everyone is super kind and nice. The food tastes amazing and the atmosphere is so lovely. Best brunch we have ever had, hands down! The service was amazing, the restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, great background music overall amazing vibe. We ordered the Turkish and Hawaiian breakfasts for the four of us which could have fed four more. Everything they served was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing.
