Whilst the server did his best to accommodate, the food was simply not up to standard. We were particularly disappointed with the local dish Barkoukech which had a bad sour taste to it, so much so that we requested to replace it. The replacement dish was a mixed grill that took a long time to arrive and was very poor both in quantity and quality, the meat was overcooked and rubbery. The Mloukhiya and Chakhchoukha were ordinary and didn’t warrant their price tags either. Really yummy food at decent price! We had couscous with fish, brik (fried egg in dough) and tried camel meat cooked inside a pottery jar. Service could be more friendly but overall a great restaurant to try!

A great place to stop for a tasty and affordable meal before you go out for a desert excursion!! I ordered the camel and split it with friends. The harissa and bread before the meal were great. The service was excellent. And I have to mention how cool the decor of the place is!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person TND 20–30

Very tasty food. Average meal ranges from 15-20 TND. Parking is easy and the bathroom is very clean. It’s a very popular place and does not have much seating especially for big groups. The waiter was nice but it felt like he was always standing around waiting for us to finish eating.

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, fresh, good quality and delicious food, the service is really good staff is always smiling and polite. Reasonable prices as well.

Disappointing. Food tasted really so-so. The pot dish was just a show and not delivering any special tastes. Ingredients were not likely to be cooked in the pot from the beginning. Most likely meat was precooked elsewhere and reheated in the pot for our order. The degrees of cookedness of the meat and vegetables revealed it. The lamb inside was fully cooked, not tender at all - very rough and tough actually - was it actually lamb? Then our final bill, hand written, was 10 dinars more than it should be, as if an adding error. When we pointed out, there was no apology offered.

I ordered a meat stew of Tozeur. It's fun to cook like a pot. Although it was the highest, it was small. But the taste was good. I also drink beer, I'm satisfied! (Although it is a little expensive at one cup of 5 dinars, there are few shops that can drink it, so it can not be helped) The shop is very dark. It is better to be brighter a little more. The clerk is not friendly but he feels good and serious. I still want to use it.
