I've been here a few times now and I've always had good food with reasonable portions for a good price. The location is near a nice park and the staff are quite kind and attentive. It's not the best food you will find in the country but it's the best I've eaten in Călărași so that deserves full marks in my book. Unfortunately, our experience at Restaurant Dumbrava Calarasi was disappointing. Despite it not being very busy, the food tasted subpar and the portions were small. The grilled chicken was undercooked and the pizza had an unusual smell and half side not baked. While the prices were reasonable, the quality did not justify them. However, I must mention that the young waitress Madalina was exceptionally kind and friendly. I am unfortunately required to warn my fellow business travelers and visitors. This evenings server proud that our attitudes and actions speak for its self. This restaurant was one of my favorite, easy places to go to. Unfortunately the service received tonight plus the additional items on the bill was my last straw. The waiter was good but the waitress,Simona i believe wasn't in the right mood and didn't communicate very good ,she was poorly in treating the guests..long pony tail girl around 30-40 years old...too bad as the restaurant is well equipped! 5 stars for food and the owner!
