We had a lovely dinner here tonight! Our food was all great but the corn soup was notably delicious and the beet salad was super fresh. The setting was beautiful and service was incredible. Hidden gem!

Had drinks here and breakfast here the next day. Staff are attentive and unbelievably friendly. The breakfast was huge and delicious, from the fruit, to the eggs, to the various breads and pastries, to the juice and coffee, everything was great. Drinks were also very good.
Views are beautiful out onto the ocean, and whales were swimming by in the morning. The decor at the restaurant is attractive and quite pretty, particularly the light fixtures.
There’s also a beautiful seating area overlooking the water above the pool. They staff will bring food and drinks from the restaurant here.
The only complaint I had was the mosquitoes. I’m still itchy days later. They had bug spray on hand, just be sure to spray!

Came here with my family for dinner and this was the most delicious meal we have had in a long time. The plates are plated beautifully and taste incredible. Service was fantastic, Sergio was the most friendly and accommodating. Starting with amazing sourdough bread and fresh lemon/lemon slices in everyone’s water glasses showed their hospitality. Delicious cocktails, tacos, and dinner entrees. The rigatoni and short rib tacos were highlights, along with the best carrot cake i’ve ever had for dessert.
and after all that a view of the ocean can be seen from every table in the restaurant. Do not skip this place!!

Encanto at Mar del Cabo is an absolute gem! The location is breathtaking, offering stunning ocean views that set the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The sea bass was simply exquisite—flawlessly cooked and bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel welcome throughout. Highly recommend for a truly great dining experience!

My husband and I have a vacation home in Cabo and live here 4-5 months per year. Our first visit to this hotel was 21 years ago and we thought it might be fun to see how much it changed. We stopped in for an appetizer and ended up having breakfast. The service was amazing and our meals were to die for. We both agreed, “Best Breakfast Ever in Cabo!!!” and we’ve been living here for 10 years. Can’t wait to go back and bring our friends. We hear dinner is just as amazing,
Encanto was lovely! The food, drinks and ambiance were absolutely amazing. Overlooking the waves crashing to the shore over dinner was a highlight. Keep in mind it’s mostly outdoor exposed seating so comfort is dependent on the weather. But we were happy to find it and would love to return!

Hands down the best restaurant in the area! We were lucky enough to dine at Restaurante Encanto for multiple days while staying at Mar del Cabo. The professionalism and kindness of the staff was top notch. We were greeted with warm welcomes, given great advice on what to order--with everything we ordered being absolutely delicious. We tried many of the 5 star restaurants also in the area and were left wishing we would have just eaten at Encanto. From breakfast to dinner, Encanto never disappointed. Thank you team Encanto for your incredible hospitality. We can't wait to come back and will recommend Encanto to friends and family visiting.
We own a house just up the hill from Mar del Cabo and eat at the restaurant once or twice every month and always recommend it to friends who come to the area. As we own this home and another condo down here, this was the one restaurant we most highly recommended. It has the fine view and always great food. After Thursday evening, this all changed.
Our party ordered 3 Martinis along with our food. The Martinis were prepared in wine glasses, bad enough, but each tasted horrible. The bartender evidently does not know how to make a good Martini and used way too much Vermouth. We each sent back our drinks and ordered something else.
When we got the bill for dinner, I noticed we were still charged for these 3 bad drinks. I asked to speak to the manager, assuming it was a simple oversight. He said, you ordered these, I made them, you must pay for them. I explained each one of us thought they tasted horrible. He replied "that is only your opinion. I tried them and they were fine." He explained not only am I the manager, I am an experienced bartender and these were fine.
What restaurant manager treats customers this way? He was literally arguing with me, in the restaurant, with other dinners listening that we should have to pay because what we thought were 3 horrible drinks was only our opinion. The taste of every food and drink gives one an opinion if it tastes good or bad. If a patron says this drink/ food or whatever tastes bad, of course that is their "opinion." But every respected restaurant will try to make the customer happy and prepare something else and never charge what the customer did not like. I have never in any restaurant in the world have someone tell me I had to pay for something I did not like.
Needles to say, our entire opinion of this establishment just took a steep dive to the bottom. This manager should politely be asked to work in another occupation where he can insult clients. We will tell all friends and family to avoid Encanto and we will take our business to other restaurants who know how to properly treat guests. This "manager" is a reflection of the restaurant, Mar del Cabo and Vela Resorts. And trust me, this is not a great image.
My wife and I agree: it's been a long time since we've had food consistently this good. The fish tacos on jicama, the paella, the curry mussels, the house margaritas, the benedictine breakfasts and huevos rancheros, even the high quality coffee cream, we could've eaten here another 20 times and not tired of it. Muchas gracias a todos.
I see the reviews were all good, my meal was decent at best, go for your own experience.
