Absolutely fantastic! A great traditional restaurant hidden in the center of Lisbon. The service is at a level of a Michelin star restaurant and the food is simple but well prepared and with a good taste. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you want a dinner with quality, class and definitely not touristic. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you want to dine out somewhere in Lisbon that's a cut above the rest this the place for that special occasion. The food, the ambience and staff are all class acts, with a sense of humour thrown in for good measure. Such a great experience! They were unfortunately, out of the suckling pig so I had the other special - the grouper. One of the wait staff de-boned the fish right in front of me so I didn't have to do much besides eat and enjoy my wine 😀 Everyone who helped us from the staff was extremely professional and provided great suggestions. Good wine pairing, plus a lovely dry port to start with. We did opt for dessert. And while the Crepe Suzanne is an entire show (2 of the other tables got it), we opted for the Abade de Priscos pudding which was very rich but so delicious. The entire meal was divine. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for some classic service and good food. I have heard of this place for a long time and have been meaning to visit it. Safe to say it was just as good as I expected… amazing! Definitely dearer than your usual Portuguese restaurant. Insanely tasty! It’s been around since 1936! Strongly recommend it.

Eating at Gambrinus was quite a treat! You get nice food and a nice show if you order the crepe suzette. The food was great, but they are noticeably quite busy with all the people coming in. Make sure you book a reservation if you can, but they will try to accommodate even walk-ins. The croquette is a must have appetizer and as mentioned, try the crepe suzette for a nice show (it’s a sweet dessert so share if you’re not really into sweets). Overall, experience was quite good and would happily go back when I return to Lisbon! Excellent old school service from the experienced staff. Our two fish dishes were fresh and perfectly cooked. The wine list was extensive with options for all pockets. A fine evening that was worth the cost. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Save yourself and your wallet, feels like you gonna have great food but i rather have bad service and great food, 18€ for a unseasonned tomato mozza, and I let you be the judge on seafood rice photo, watery, no flavor, horrible, and the veggies that came with the fish taste like they been cooked 4 days ago and slimy and looked like hosptal food, so disapointed because a local business actually recommneded this place. It was a restaurant where you can feel the Portuguese tradition in the interior decoration and the attire of the servers. The food was served with a waiter bringing a pot cooked in the kitchen and putting it on a plate in front of the table. Had traditional pork, clams and fried prawns, I can't judge how well they kept the Portuguese tradition, the clams were very good but the other two were average. Coffee was the best in 6 weeks in Portugal Price per person €50+
