We were there for dinner. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't speak English, but that wasn't a problem because they were very friendly and we could communicate well with gestures. We came to this restaurant once to have a date and it was such a disappointment because of the horrible live music we were not able to hear each other. The singer doesn’t have a good voice (someone has to say it!) and it was incredibly loud!!! The only thought we had - just eat fast and run away. The food was okay (typical Portuguese food, nothing extraordinary). The staff wasn’t friendly at all. The place supposed to be open until 11pm, but at 10pm we received a receipt and were asked to leave. Well, again, we were happy to leave because couldn’t stand the “free concert”. We were on our way south(backpackers) hungry and stopped for a break and some food. Ordered some fish and Picanha. First I thought, 19€ for a Picanha was a bit pricy, but failed . That meal was perfect. The fish was very tasty with a lot of side vegetables. The hit was the Picanha, came with fries, black beans and much more. The waiter served the picanha (absolutely tender, juicy and perfect medium) from the skewer, he sliced 4-5 times a small portion of the meat at the table and in the meantime went away, to continue perfect cooking of the meat. It was sooo good. To make it perfect, he served barbecued pineapple. We could not eat up. Worth every Euro!!!!!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20

The food and service was great but a bit of a tourist trap. I wanted an authentic Portuguese dinner which is what I got, but I also got a large bill. The starters on the table are not offered so if you don't want to pay for them, don't eat them. I thought I ordered one plate but when I was served, it was enough for a small army, leaving me a bit embarrassed and a 60 euros bill! Very good but be careful when ordering! I would return but only for the take out...

I’m American and my husband is Portuguese. A lot of the poor reviews are from tourists who do not understand the dining customs here in Portugal. For people who are not from Portugal, like me, dining out in Portugal is definitely different than in other Countries. Of course! This restaurant serves authentic and delicious Portuguese food! The servers only speak Portuguese because this is Portugal! A little research of the country you are visiting goes a long way to ensure you are not an ignorant tourist.

Very bad a expérience, i didnt recommand thos restaurant. They offre you olives and appeteizers and water and after they add all the amout to total even the water! We ate for 20€ w paied 38! € very bad expérience !
