This place was my savior during the late December drizzles in Porto. I just needed some hot nutritious food and was glad to be able to eat Chicken Couscous here. The Moroccan mint tea was soothing as well. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Chicken Couscous

This restaurant only serves halal meals and no alcoholic drinks in the premises. Alhamdulillah. It is not a big restaurant, however, the food taste excellent. I'd ordered chicken grilled pasta with mushroom sauce and mojito. It was a total relief after a hike climb of those steep stairs when the funicular was under maintenance. Stopped in here for lunch, looking for a break from the local fare and I really enjoyed my veal tagine. I'd never had this meal before but it was delicious. The meat was tender, cooked perfectly and the aroma and flavours were just lovely. I didn't know that it comes more as a meat dish than a whole stew so I asked for some bread to sop up the delicious gravy with. and that made this a perfect meal. This place is above and beyond amazing. The couscous, A+. The tea, A+. The orange juice, A+. And the people? A++++. They are wonderful and very kind, you feel at home among family. They also speak great English. I highly recommend, especially if you’re staying nearby. Good and simple Moroccan food done well. Stumbled into this place by chance when in Porto and I must say it is a hidden gem. The chickpea soup has a good warm flavour and the chicken couscous was absolutely delicious. My mate had the grilled chicken and the meat was tender and moist. One of the best moroccan halal restaurant I visited. We tried Couscous with meat and chicken, the portion was good but you could ask for more in your plate without any additional fees. The food was tasty. We also tried msemen and tea and it was tasty as well. The staff are kind, nice, smiling and welcoming. Such a pleasure to find this place and feel the Moroccan spirit since my partner is Moroccan but I haven’t been to Morocco yet!! Very lovely tea (I asked for a little sugar since I know in Morocco they love it very sweet!), so good I had a refill 🤗 And really yummy pastries, one with honey and one with vegetables.
