Very nice indian food restaurant. The place is not that big. It is opened on a old pre war kinda building. So its a bit old looking small restaurant. The owner does MGR style mimicry during his Malaysian Tamil telemovie days. Guess he opened this shop after his movie day retirement. The owner has decreased btw. Shop wise, breakfast is good. Lunch, co-shared with another people and is ok. Not much dishes, but suits for factory workers from Hi-tech and surrounding. Attractive name for an Indian restaurant. MGR is the abbreviation for the famous yesteryears Tamil movie Hero & Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr MG Ramachandran. The restaurant is located on the main road and easily visible. We were late for breakfast as dishes already finished.

Nice home style Indian food. Reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. MGR fans should eat at least once here fir it's filled with all MGR nostalgic

If you are looking for authentic Indian delights, then make a visit to this place and you can have roti canai, dosai, capati and etc....and the drinks are reasonably priced. And why is the name MGR? Well, MGR was a very famous and popular Indian movie star and hero as well as a politician, and the owner of this restaurant is none other than a local TV actor himself and his look resembles a bit of MGR. So, visit this place and see the owner in person. Have a pleasant time.
