This restaurant is classic artisan food of the highest quality. The service is impeccable, they can provide good gluten-free options, the staff are so helpful and the food is better quality than I have had in fine dining restaurants in London. Probably one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. Dishes were quite simple, but really well made and fresh, vegetables seem to be like home grown! Taste was amazing, 12 out of 10! Can highly recommend this place to anyone Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Family restaurant with great atmosphere to have business lunch, dinner. Building with its story where the first paper was produced from fabrics in Līgatne. Very good wine list, tasty food, professional, helpful and sincere personnel. Of course, it works as a magnet to return with family and friends. Very glad that conference closing lunch was organized in Restaurant 1815. It made a great impression to all of us. Tasteful balance in interior, food, hospitality, cooperation with local entrepreneurs etc. And yes, coffee 👌🙂!

Imagine Christmas mood, snowy weather, Santa Claus speaking with children in his cabin, everybody walking around enjoying the beautiful views of Ligatne. And after such magical day you want to eat something special. Right in the heart of a city you can find this place, and it's amazing as it looks. Super friendly and polite staff, not overfilled menu with meals for every taste. Just give it a try and you wouldn't be disappointed!
