Been hearing good things from friends so we had to try this place out. Middle afternoon on a Saturday, the place was mostly empty. Greeted by a friendly hostess and sat. The decor is entirely black and gray. All tables and booths are black. The place is dimmly lit and for the weather outside it was freezing cold. Uncomfortably so. We even mentioned it to our waitress who just sort of laughed and said the temperatures really fluctuate. We didn’t want a brunch menu but that’s all they served at that time so I got the Road House Breakfast Burger, my wife got the Philly Cheesesteak with crawfish sauce. Both were absolutely delicious. My burger was covered with fresh veggies and a perfectly cooked egg. The meat was a perfect medium temp, with a nice light smokey flavor. For my wife’s cheesesteak she opted to get it without the queso which makes sense since it already has a crawfish sauce. Turned out to be the right decision. Too much sauce would have made it sloppy. Both dishes served with more fries than we could handle. Final thoughts, food is really good. We laughed as I called it elevated redneck cuisine. It’s south Mississippi so gotta embrace. Not a big fan of the decor or atmosphere, but it won’t stop us from going again. Sadly, no bouncer on duty we thought would be bigger. Seated in booth right in front of front door so it was uncomfortably chilly when patrons entered & exited blg. Not a good spot for a dining table in Winter or windy weather. Very friendly staff. Food was mostly great. Ordered a side of sautéed squash and onions, it was almost scorched. Same with some of the bread pudding I had for dessert. The entrees we had, country fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra, and the burger were excellent. Katelyn D was our server and she was amazing! We never ran out of drink and she checked in numerous times. I asked about a drink that wasn’t on the menu, just to see if maybe they had it and she checked for me and they did! Me and husband both got the filet then split a bread pudding. The country fried steak was great but can some1 PLEASE make a great Philly cheese steak sandwich cuz this 1 was not that good but the lovely lady that worked the bar was Great! Actually she's the reason we will be back to Sunday brunch 1 day Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The atmosphere was very welcoming and the service was definitely something to remember. The food though….The food was absolutely incredible! I had the country fried steak. The flavor profile was homestyle but very upscale. The word savory comes to mind. I’m totally going back! I've been a few time,service is great, but they were out of an ingredient to make their signature drink, and it was early evening. There's not a very big selection on the menu. First time there 9/22/23. Sat on patio. Very relaxing for a date night. Everyone is very friendly. We got the Country Fried Steak dinner, and the Double Deuce Pulled Pork Slider meal with sweet potato fries. Both were very good. We will be back. I love the remodel of the building. Staff was very friendly upon entering. Waitress was attentive & friendly. We were a party of 3 & we all ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. All of our steaks were different sizes & not very thick. A little overcooked as well. Being smothered in gravy & help of the mashed potatoes made it a little softer. It was all good, except for the green beans. I like mine soft & mushy, and these were crisp & crunchy. One of our party loved the green beans as that is how she prefers them. After seeing other photos of peoples plates, I think I’d rather of had the okra substituted for the green beans. The atmosphere here is amazing. It’s the perfect place to bring your significant other on a date. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty! I had the Mississippi cheesesteak and I inhaled the thing! I probably could have eaten two of them! It was soo good! My wife had the loaded fries and she loved them.
