Very nice place. Food is superb. The drinks are a little weak/bland. Certainly not at the level of the food. The service, however, is excellent. The ambiance is average. Not on par with the food either. I hope they upgrade to better place soon. Eating in front of a busy road is typical for any PR joint. But back to the food. You can try the shrimp gnocchi cheese sauce dish. It is one of the best anywhere. The chef salad was superb too. Come for the food experience and the walk it off by the beach on the Boquerón village. Just be prepared to pay.

We are staying in Cabo Rojo and decided to visit Roberto Gastroteca. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily were able to dine in (probably because is a Monday) but I suggest making reservations.
Our family could not decide on one so we ordered several appetizers: sopa de calabaza, croquetas, pork belly were delicious. Our favorite: alcapurrias de Wagyu with a deconstructed unexpected twist.
The Chuleton was tender and melted in your mouth. The chickpeas were so perfectly cooked.
The Risotto Milanese was amazing! The risotto was so cheesy, and the basil kick made it all the better! As for the chicken that comes with the Milanese, 2 words: crispy and juicy.
Las chuletas de cordero were very delicious as well.
We, again, could not decide on one and ordered three desserts: flan de pistachio, flan de queso and crème brûlée. All had the right amount of sweetness and perfect consistency.
Very good service and, overall, 10/10 experience.
Roberto Gastroteca a little gem in the Poblado de Boqueron.

This Boqueron experience is the most upscale dining experience on the West Coast and certainly in Cabo Rojo. I dare say Roberto compares favorably with top San Juan (losa) restaurants. I applaud their guts and efforts in showcasing what can be accomplish with vision in this location. We were a party of 8 with a full restaurant and service, food presentation and taste was impeccable. 5 stars all around and encouragement to continue. 👏👏👏

Very underwhelmed. I hate writing bad reviews but the fish dishes were fishy and the meat dishes were all fat and bone. Not really edible and not inexpensive. Atmosphere was great but the food left much to be desired. Amazing cocktails.

Amazing place! Love the fusion. The west side of the Island needed a place like this. There seems to be an issue with the next door neighbor that somehow made us feel uncomfortable but definately not their fault. It seems like an ongoing issue with the restaurant. But overall perfection.

Worth the trip. A fabulous restaurant with gluten free options. The appetizers are all great. My favorite, the ceviche. Mains: Quail fabulous, osso bucco great, penne with rib eye, fabulous. Extremely attentive wait staff. Great cocktails Don't miss this restaurant!
