Rock Road restaurant serves good seafood in a nice environment with warm service. You can pick the crabs from the aquarium to suit your liking - the salted egg yoke cooking style goes well with the bun! The fried oyster is crispy and tasty, while the Midin vegetable is fresh & perfect! Price on the high side but good quality foods.

One of the nice place to have your seafood in Sarawak for those a seafood lovers. They have ranges of fresh and frozen seafood.
We have the nyonya steam fish, yummy fried oyster omelette, bamboo clams, one veggie, butter prawn, seafood cheese mini pie and beancurd with tofu.
Overall the food is not bad and their service is top notch. The cost of the food, I must say some how it’s reasonable.

I recently visited Rock Road Stone Seafood Restaurant on a Saturday afternoon with a group of five people. The restaurant is a two-story establishment, with the ground floor housing the payment counter and a captivating live seafood aquarium. The dining area is situated on the second floor, offering ample space and a typical restaurant ambiance with air conditioning, warm yellow lighting, and round tables dressed in tablecloths.
Our menu choices included stir-fried midin (a famous Sarawakian vegetable), Teow Chew pan-fried oysters, stir-fried mani leaf, the signature Hainanese special prawn, and bamboo shell with cheese. Surprisingly, my favorite dish turned out to be the stir-fried mani leaf, while the seafood, although OK, had smaller prawn sizes and didn't quite meet our expectations. The waiting time for our dishes was around 20 minutes, even though there were only two tables of customers, including us.
In terms of service, while the staff was efficient, their friendliness left something to be desired.
In summary, Rock Road Stone Seafood Restaurant proved to be a decent dining place for our group of five. I would recommend having the stir-fried mani leaf on your table, while the seafood was not to my taste. However, it is worth trying other seafood dishes, as you might find one that suits your palate.

Hainan Crabs
A famous old restaurant in Kuching, anyone growing up in this city would be familiar with this restaurant for its seafood. I personally love their seafood dishes, other dishes have changed over the years and my recent visit they are decent but isn’t up to expectation. However I still like their satay sauce crab with mantou & its environment that’s clean and neat.

One of the best seafood experiences I have had in a long time. As there were only two of us, the number of dishes we could order was limited.
We opted for the crab in Hainanese sauce, fried noodles with prawns, and a vegetable dish that included beans and Lady's Fingers.
The star of the show was the crab. Firm and tasty meat in a flavorful special sauce which we found to be most delightful. The noodles and vegetables were not far and came in a close second.
If you like good seafood, look no further!

Food here is decent and typical, similar to most Chinese restaurants in KL. However, Top Spot Oster Pancake stands out as a better and unique choice. If I were staying in Kuching, I wouldn't mind coming here occasionally. As tourists, we're on the lookout for extraordinary dishes that are not commonly found in Peninsular Malaysia
