Food was okay. The Guac bowl was really good. The entrees we ordered came with a side of rice and refried beans that were room temperature. Flavors were ok. Service Dine in Food: 3

Food wasn’t all that great. The shredded beef chimichanga was not good. The red sauce was not good. The chips & salsa were the only good thing about this visit. Ended up walking out. Waitress walked past us 4 times, didnt check in, didnt grab waters but definitely noticed us. The bartender noticed us and saidnothinh. Now this was on a weekday and there was hardly anyone in there. One guy came by with chips and salsa and no one came back. So i ate my chips and dip and left. Rojo is a slightly upscale chain Mexican restaurant. The food and atmosphere was okay but I will say that the service was phenomenal. I had to give it a star because I had too not because I wanted to. My husband and I went to Rojo in St. Louis Park, MN to eat before our show. The service was horrible. We had to wait 15 minutes before a server a server came to take our order. After our food had arrive, our order was wrong. The server dropped off another tables drinks. My husband opened up his napkin and found hair in the napkin. The restaurant was very dirty. The customer service was terrible. No one came to check on our food, didn’t apologize for anything. Not sure if it’s under new management, but I would recommend the Maple Grove location. Much better there. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Came within the last hour of them being open on a Sunday and still got great service. Did not feel rushed, didn't feel falsely compassionate. Good staff here. Served check with us regularly, always readily available. The food has variety and simplicity so it's easy to choose amongst diverse options. Though this is true authentic mexican it is still a decent fare at a reasonable price. Taste isn't vibrant but portions are fair. Especially for this area of location. Nice patio, friendly service from Keeley. The compliment chips and salsa are appreciated, the freshly made guac is fantastic. Good selection of Mexican beers. The disappointment is my Carne Asada: the rice is sweetened (not to my liking), refried bean tasted flat, the corn tortilla falls apart when I hold it up for a byte. Had lunch with my cousin. Ordered an app and asked for a little more time. Our waitress didn't come back for a half hour. By the time we got our lunch, we been there for an hour! This is a great place for some delicious Mexican food. The ambiance is very good for friends and dates. The menu has good variety of options. The place serves alcohol and has a very nice bar. There are a huge variety of Cocktails and drinks available. The patio seating is huge and very lively. The prices are on the higher 💰💰side for the food and drinks they offer. But given the location and competition, the prices seem competitive. The avocado 🥑 egg roll is my favorite appetizer here. The fajitas and the tacos are mind blowing.
