The cooks here prepare tasty smoked salmon, prawns and fish & chips. Most visitors think that you can drink good wine at this restaurant. Great coffee will make your meal even more delicious and you'll surely come back. Clients don't like halva at Rokeriet. The staff is said to be cute here. This place is remarkable for its cool service. But google users rated this spot and it didn't achieve a high rating.

Made a detour from Oslo towards Göteborg in order to get some good fish for lunch in this cosy town. Unfortunately all fish restaurant in the harbour were closed even if Google marked them as opened. Nevertheless we found this gem and food was amazing Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person kr 200–300
Always great service and big tasty portions (I only had the starter in this picture) . My wife always order the "Grandma's fish soup", she loves it and has cravings for it when we're not there... Definitely deserves more stars than 3.7. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
Seafood plater was served with shrimps, crab claws and norwegian lobster, bread with butter and mayonaise dipping. Food was fresh, room temperature. Service was poorly english, so it was difficult to get answers.
Crappy weather but feels nice and warm inside. Very few people here (due to the weather) but very enjoyable food. A good experience, must be beautiful on a sunny day
Good honest and delicious sea food. Nice portions too. Eating while watching the ferry boats going to Norway. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Myself and my sous chef came for lunch yesterday as the location was great and we had a sunshine filled terrace to enjoy. We both wanted the shrimp plates. We asked the servers what the market price was and were told it was 365 per person, seemed very high for shrimp BUT, I then asked if it was a large quantity and would it fill us up. We were told that yes, it was enough to fill us up and that we were getting prawns. As we are both chefs in Norway and have served MANY shrimps, we ordered for two as we believed that even though it was expensive, if the quality and quantity were good, it was worth the money. Imagine our surprise when we received a plate of shrimps with no more than 200 grams for two of us with 6 slices of store bought french bread, sliced thin, and a small bowl of butter (we never received cutlery) and what they called aioli but, was a disgusting mess of a mix between store bought remoulade and over cooked garlic, seriously disgusting. We were so hungry that we did eat it all and went inside to pay the bill. Clearly I was upset and the second server asked me what was wrong. I informed him that paying 365x2 for two hundred grams of store bought shrimp, was cheating their customers and very bad for business. Next the "chef" came out with arms folded and said that we told you the price and you accepted, which, is true. But, I said we also asked if it was a large enough portion. The chef then proceeded to tell me that we had received a KILO of shrimp. I will include the picture of our so called 1 kg of shrimp. At this point, I lost it. I asked him if he thought I was stupid. I feel bad for any customer that comes in here because, these guys ARE NOT chefs as chefs want to serve something they are proud of. These guys are only here to take your money. I admit, I saw red and I tongue lashed then in front of customers. But, as a head chef, I know that they knew they had been caught cheating and no way could I contain my anger that they had no respect for the craft. I am going to put this complaint anywhere I can to save innocent people from being screwed by these people. And by the way, a carrot stick and lettuce in a wine glass of water is a clear sign we were not dealing with professionals.
Great portions and friendly staff. Recommend their fish n chips! (Just don't compare them to the chippy shops in the UK) no mashed peas unfortunately.

I vould really like to give this kind of places something special. A resturant just two metres from the open sea in the harbour of Stromstad. Tables outside with blankets if the sea gave i litle chily vind and tables inside in a robust velcoming atmosfare. Verry tasty food. I had solomon. Priceworthy despite the range of high class. Unfortunatly the cashiere counted in a fifty crowns extra without explaining. Maybe the photoshoot of service I did, explain the extra charge. And the climatefriendly expectations. Well, I do not know if the fashion included good assimilation to climatechange question. What I know is that I feelt a litle inconviniant thanks to my new approach with climatefriendly ambition. I am thrilled to get to know the climatefriendly sign at places like this.

They offered us today's catch of fresh prawns at SEK240 for a plate with ayoli and bread, but the prawns were all but fresh! And my daughters burger were half grilled and mostly rare. It took them 20 min to replace it. My advice ; choose one of the many other eateries in Strømstad.
