We move into Rolleston a few months ago. This is the third place we've been to and it's had the best food. Nice burger, the spring roll was hot, crisp, fresh and lots of veges. Will be back again Thanks Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Doesn't matter how many scoops of chips you order you get the same amount ripped off. High prices on everything food is below average go to Aj's takeaways they have the best of everything scoops of chips, burgers are what you pay for always leaving please a full not ripped off by Rolleston Food Bar and left hungry. Got fish and chips nuggets and a burger for family lunch. Was delicious - the fish was nice and thick and moist - great batter and the chips were fabulous - really hot - crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The couple working there were so nice - friendly and helpful. Nice clean premises - plenty of parking 10/10!! Meal type Lunch

The Rolleston Food Bar has made really nice fish & chips over the last couple of weeks. We had family visit from Australia recently & they really enjoyed the fish & chips from here. We used to go to Stonebrook Fish & Chips shop but we're now changing over to the Rolleston Food Bar because it's improved a lot & is much cheaper overall. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Hm.... The cooking oil is maybe 6 months old and the actual fish is thinner than the bank card that I used to pay for it, being wrapped around a crumb that's thicker than my palm to make the overall thing looks decent sized. This shop is highly recommend if you enjoy thick crumbs with microscopic fish fried with thousand-year-old oil.
