enjoyed their happy hour 5pm-7pm/8pm with $6 G&T and some hot chips. What the standout here is their chicken wings! Buffalo sauce, perfect *chef’s kiss* and the home made blue cheese *drool* from an upstate-NY native, I can verify these are delicious buffalo wings! Don’t miss out on this gem when you’re in Wanaka!

Was ok. Was also a Thursday night. Fire place was pumping...but the heater above the fireplace is a Flippin hazard haha 2 of my friends...who are not super tall,almost knocked themselves out Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $60–70 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Best breakfast in Wanaka. You can't beat the Weekend Big Breakfast deal! World famous in Wanaka! Great service, great vibes and a great team. Eat next to the huge outdoor fire and enjoy great coffee or, if the sun is over the yard arm then something from the bar!

Wow, that absolute best fries ever with that chilli bite. I would have mixed it with the sauce provided and aioli. Then it would have been perfect. I am so pleased to find a light bite like this after a busy day. I'm definitely coming back. Fingers crossed, Rove is still here then. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolute dish water, I turned up didn’t even order a drink, sat down with my girlfriend and got kicked out never going back again. Need to sort out your staff, on some kind of power trip. LOVED IT!!! no where was open at 9.30pm...all kitchens everywhere was shut but when I called speights Ale house to check if they were still open, a lovely man told me about Rove and highly recommended it. Food was quick and hot. I rang and ordered ahead. The guy on the phone was cool as, really friendly and accommodating - giving me his recommendations etc. Will be back for sure! Thanks Rove team!! 😊

By far the best restaurant/pub in Wanaka! We had been walking in 30° with our dog, after our car had broke down, and we stumbled across the Rove. We were welcomed in and our dog was automatically brought water! The staff were super friendly and our food and drinks were brought to us straight away. A lot cheaper an a more chill environment as opposed to the places down by the waterfront. 10/10 recommend!

While the food is good, the service is terrible, the girl behind the bar is rude and looked intoxicated. it took nearly an hour to get our food, they were not busy as we watched and waited to the point we asked to be refunded, on reviewing our order looks like we were also overcharged. $21 for just a burger?
