My go-to spot for fried whole chicken wings and fried okra - best in the city. The whole menu is excellent, you can’t make a bad choice. Oh! RS has a one of a kind combo - crawfish grilled cheese & krappy fries.

Today I got to enjoy a nice and beautiful sunny day.I happen to stop in for my 3rd visit.I
ordered the main street fried chicken wings with Creole pasta and a loaded mashed potato. The food came out in a timely manner, and I have to say everything was impressively good. The fried Chicken seasoned to perfection, creole pasta bursting with flavor, and the (s)mashed potato had all the trimmings…. I was able to look into the clean kitchen and saw a harmonious crew who worked great together…..
The owner/Chef came out to asked her customers about their food.When she came over to me and I was able to express my deepest appreciation and love for her impressive skills.
She remembered me from last time and redeemed herself even more by bringing out one of those thick,well seasoned, tender lamb chops.
I took one bite and set it down to finish later…
As the sun began going down, it started getting a little windy and blew my juicy lamb chop off the table. 🙄Remembering that awesome flavor, I had to employ the 3 second rule…🤓

What you’re seeing is what’s left after we couldn’t wait to eat and said “whoops, forgot to take a picture.” Proceeded to smash the meal.
Before I praise the hell out of this place. I’d like to address the negativity I’ve seen aimed at these fine folks: People who can’t wait for their food, it’s your loss. That’s how good food is supposed to be. Act like you been somewhere before.
Food was absolute Gourmet. I had the Bacon Jam burger (not present in photo). Never had much bacon jam in my life but now I don’t want to have a burger without it. The Chicken Alfredo Egg Rolls (some) did happen to make it to the photo op. They we’re a very unique thing that I can say I never had anywhere before and they didn’t disappoint.
Top 5 of the Hattiesburg local foods, and folks with larger restaurants should count their days. As good as this food is, I don’t foresee this place going anywhere but to a larger location in the future. They put big kitchens in this area to SHAME.

Very active, fresco seating, right next to the Longleaf Trace with a family-friendly atmosphere and oh yeah, BOMB delicious food with a fair menu size. Can't wait to see the people at Royal Spices in their own dine-in spot.

Ordered the creole salmon pasta and crawfish grilled cheese. Both items were full of flavor. The grilled cheese was a bit too salty. Overall if you want a taste of creole here is your place to go.
