Great music and vibes. Place can get crowded though, very crowded..not enough seating spaces which is a real bummer. If more seating is available it can get very comfortable.
Cons
This place is located in the ghetto of Warren Park in Harare, where the roads are unforgivingly bad. There are no street signs either so Maps is your best bet to locate it. Slow and steady is the safest way to navigate your way to this location...
In short it's an urban off-road experience!
The complex is also quite underwhelming with patchy tarmac in some areas, bottle stores, and an ad hoc overnight parking service occupying most of the real estate.
Pros
Layout
Having said that, Rufaro Shisanyama is quite the hidden gem. It features 3 separate spaces, with an exclusive lounge section that has its own bar, the main bar area with booths, stand alone tables and benches, DJ station and butchery section.
The gem is the partially enclosed outdoor section, perfect for taking in the warm summer breeze whilst you smoke some shisha.
Amenities
The decor is rather quirky with upcycled pallet furniture dominating the setup.
The Bar is well-stocked with local and imported liqueur and the pricing is reasonable.
The whole place is very clean and tidy too which is always welcome.
The braai meat is obviously the main draw card and they do not disappoint. From the flavour and seasoning to tenderness and turnaround time, it makes the drive worthwhile!
There are DJs too if you fancy getting down.
Located in the surbab of Warren park 1 near the police station. The place is casual and quite popular during the weekends especially Friday and Saturday evenings from around 1900 hrs. Braai and cooked food is sold from the kitchen while cold beers of all sorts are available. The place is perfect for a night out and dancing. Public transport is available from the place to the city until late.
