The coffee and desserts here are amazing. They look amazing in photos and taste just as good as they look. I appreciate the attention to detail in flavors and presentation. Also the owner is kind and friendly and speaks good English too. Be sure not to miss out on this place if you are visiting Hualien. We ordered cheesecake, brownie with ice cream, toasted almond latte, cappuccino, and a pour over coffee. Everything was outstanding! Incredibly friendly and kind owner. We ordered almost all the desserts on the menu and they were incredible (the cinnamon bun and the raw cheesecake were favourites!). The drinks were great too. A very unique experience! The iced Ethiopia Sidamo was excellent, so is the hot honeyed cinnamon milk. They all go very well with the caramelise apple cinnamon and the blueberry cheese cake! Excellent service too. Try not to miss it if you are visiting Hualien!

Cinnamon roll is perfectly balanced. It is moist and light. I also like that its sweetness is not overpowering. Definitely my go-to when I visit Hualien next time!

洗石子，日式磁磚，磨石子地板，窗花，木窗框，帶花樣的毛玻璃⋯⋯老房子之於現代人的價值，絕大多數是來自於這些本來很稀鬆平常，現今卻難以取得，且在一般建築少見的材料。比起精心設計的嶄新屋宇，時間淘洗留存下來的，更顯珍貴。時間就是金錢？要說老屋有什麼「懷舊」之感，然而若非經歷過那樣的生活，心裡又有何舊可「懷」？何況老屋經過整修改裝，無論是為了符合個人風格，或者單純因屋況過於老舊而必須如此，都很難重現其原本狀態。從一代店「Wasabi」即選在老社區的小巷弄內，來到美崙的二代店「Sabi Sabi」依然如此。無論是在市區或者美崙，老闆熱情的待客態度始終如一，彷彿打開自家大門，在自家客廳招待客人似的。作為客人可以躲在自己安靜的角落，也可以偶爾走出自己的小圈圈，在吧台之後，總有人可以說上兩句話——如果她還忙得過來的話。充電有限度的收費，咖啡續杯有折扣，單組客人限制四人以下，讓獨自前往的客人感覺能夠保有安靜的環境，久待也沒有關係。某次去Sabi Sabi，和老闆聊起她的客人，在二樓角落的座位完成了論文。很慶幸有咖啡店重視所屬的空間，視其為重要的附加價值，藉此與人有所連結。我一直都覺得店家的整體風格會反映店主的性格，像Sabi Sabi這樣的店，選在了這樣的舊社區舊房子，就如同過往小社區內鄰里間的緊密關係，而不是現代都市生活中那樣的疏離。老屋之於sabi sabi的關係顯得那麼理所當然。雖然我覺得疏離也沒有關係，因為現代人如我確實需要大量的個人空間，然而在需要一點甜甜溫暖的時候，我會想起有Sabi Sabi這樣的小店。 ┈ ┈ 今日點餐 ┈ ┈ ➨檸檬氣泡美式 ➨熱杏仁拿鐵 ➨招牌肉桂捲 instagram: waka_motors_ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
