I went the previous day, ordered 6 different pizza’s for 11:30 the next day. At 11:29 I showed up as the pizzas were taken out of the oven! So good, steaming , hot, fresh! Great job! I had a bad experience at this sandwich shop. They have expired food on their shelves, like their chips and cookies. I witnessed the employees not following basic hand hygiene practices. To make matters worse, one of the staff members touched my food with her shirt as she was rolling my sandwich. She also used the same glove that was being used to make my food ( some beef still in her other hand ) to answer the ringing phone, and went back to finish, which was beyond unsanitary. The overall cleanliness of the shop left a lot to be desired, and the staff's attitude was far from friendly. I would strongly advise against eating here. Usually I love everything.. today I ordered the toasted pastrami sandwich, they forgot the pickles I asked for and it didn't seem to satisfy me like their sandwiches normally do. I grew up eating Italian sandwiches from our local sub shop in Machias. The right kind of bread is so important. This sandwich shop consistently has fresh, soft, yummy bread for their sandwiches. The fillings are delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. I love going to a family run store instead of a chain. I have always had great service and a quick turn around. Thank you for all your hard work!

Hadn't ordered pizza from here in a long time but it used to be my go-to. Ordered the house specialty pizza the other day and my 9-year-old daughter said that it was the best pizza she'd ever had... And that's really saying something because we do a lot of takeout from various establishments. Generous amount of toppings, The sauce isn't too sweet and just right, cheese was lightly toasted on top. So good. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

The food is 50/50 I had a great loaded Italian sandwich but my wife got a steak and cheese that consisted of nothing more than a couple thin slices of "steak 'ems" and some provolone cheese. Service was ok and we didn't wait long for our food. I would definitely go back, but it may take some time to convince my wife to join me. Really good meatball sandwich. But the service was rude & really not welcoming at all. Which is really weird for a small town deli, which I love to visit every chance I get. My wife needed some gluten free options and the person taking our order was really not helpful. Also, make sure you’re ordering what you want. Some Italian sandwiches are not what you think. Coming from the south the supreme Italian sandwich is the way to go. But I’d go to Governor’s before coming back here. Oh and no seating to eat the hot sandwiches. Really weird.
