We loved the place!
Great delicious food. We ordered the eggplant layers, calamari, pasta, risotto and lamb and all were perfect.
Very nice atmosphere, and the service was great. It's worth the price, and absolutely recommend it.

We were impressed by the decor and lighting of this recently opened restaurant located in a very central part of Chaweng.
The food and prices didn't impress us. It started with some stale bread - it would have been much better if it hadn't been served. Of the two dishes we wanted, one, lasagne, wasn't available, so we just ordered an Nduja pizza with extra cheese.
For drinks we ordered a fresh orange juice priced at Baht 175 (including vat and service). It was the smallest orange juice I've ever been served. At most, a half what you would normally expect. So it would be Baht 350 for a standard quantity. Incredible. At least 3 times normal Samui pricing.
The pizza cost 690 but was incredibly ordinary. It had a minute amount of meat on it, and the base tasted like wet bread. May be 290 would be a more appropriate price.
In summary, great location and decor, but poor food and drinks at extortionate prices.

Came here the first night it was open. Food was good, and naturally on the first night everything was freshly made and well prepared. Arrived a little late for dinner so I only enjoyed a few pizza slices and some fish ceviche, which I thought were good. My personal highlight was the tiramisu. It looks like design aspect is something this restaurant pay most attention to. Every corner of this restaurant is not left unoccupied with some novel elements. They seem to put a lot of thought into fixtures and plates which are custom designed - aesthetically very extra. There will be occasions where I will try out some more Italian menus at this place. Looking forward!

Hello everyone, we ate two pizzas (Mozzarella and the Salami Piccante) which looked really good, unfortunately they was a little bit burned on the bottom, but the taste was good (were it was not burned). We also wanted to order the starters Caesar Salad and Bruschetta, but they ran out of ingredients at 19 o‘clock. VAT is not included in the prices of the card, additional you have to pay 10% Service. In our opinion it’s a little bit overpriced.

First off, I have to say: the decor and the Staff/service is impeccable. Not a bad word to say about either of those. However.
Frutti di mare on the menu caught my eye (as it's one of my favorites, and seems to not be on many Italian restaurant menus on the island). I must start off by saying, the interior decorating, lighting, tables, playing is all Immaculate. Beautiful presentation. I ordered the cheapest version (฿420) vs the ฿690 Linguine version [that I provably should have ordered].
I then ordered just a local Thai beer since I didn't know if a ฿ 320 Negroni cocktail would be a good starter. I ordered the ฿120 Chang "50cl" beer according to the menu description, only to be later presented a typical smaller sized beer bottle (32cl, or 320ml). When I brought up the beer-size discrepancy to the server, and showing them the menu listing which clearly states "50cl", I was told "oh it must have been a typo". Sure. Possible, but still rather misleading at least, and unacceptable for an establishment to advertise something officially on the menu only to be presented with something way below the listed volume for the price that would still be high for even the larger 620ml size by most bars (which charge ฿100 uniformly throughout Chaweng).
The food wasn't bad, considering I ordered the cheapest version on the menu but. It was essentially just Spaghetti, garlic, olive oil, some speradic tomato chunks here and there (5-7), and Just clams. Frutti di mare typically has clams, muscles, shrimp and calamari, dressed in a light tomato sauce. From a dish that directly translates as “fruit of the sea”, I expected a bit more than just clams, a handful of tomato pieces, garlic, olive oil (no chili/spicyness), and garlic.

Don’t be fooled by this new restaurant’s attractive outward appearance compared to the other grungier looking restaurants in the area. Unless you don’t care about good service or know what true Italian food tastes like, avoid this overpriced farce. I normally don’t write reviews unless I either experience something extraordinarily excellent or awful and unfortunately this restaurant falls in the latter category. Raised in an Italian family and having traveled all around the world, I have been fortunate to eat a lot of delicious Italian food in my life, but this truly has to be one of the worst “Italian” restaurants I have ever been to. I used quotation marks around “Italian” because I am assuming the “chefs” are actually Burmese because no self-respecting Italian would dare serve this trash. Honestly the Italian government should sue this restaurant to make them stop claiming they are an Italian restaurant because it’s that bad. They give other Italian restaurants a bad name. If you are looking for a quiet romantic restaurant, this is not it. It is like eating at a train station with waiters literally angrily yelling at each other across the restaurant in Burmese (yes Burmese, not Thai because like many other restaurants in Samui they hire low wage-earning Burmese workers instead of paying their own Thai people to work there). This along with the blaring loud speakers coming from advertising trucks driving down the street in front of the restaurant, children screaming, plates crashing, and you have to yell to your partner across a small table to be heard. I ordered two of the simplest dishes one can order from an Italian restaurant- pasta aglio e oglio and minestrone soup and yet they somehow managed to mess them up. After waiting forever for the food to come for such simple dishes, what I received was literally just about 5 baht worth of pasta in oil. No garlic, no parsley, no peppers, no seasoning, no sign of an ounce of artistry or love put into making it, and absolutely zero taste. That along with its disastrous presentation (see attached picture) honestly reminded me of something you’d give a small picky child who will only eat the most basic of foods. When I asked the waiter twice both in English and Thai for some crushed red chili pepper, after waiting again forever they finally brought out a black pepper grinder. When I told them again that’s not what I asked for and asked them again for crushed red chili pepper this time they brought out Hungarian paprika! Crushed red chili pepper is a very simple staple ingredient that any Italian or even Thai restaurant should have. It’s not rocket science. I eventually gave up on that request, knowing it was hopeless and just ate the tasteless pasta because by after eating 45 minutes for my food I was starving and would eat anything. The minestrone soup was likewise bland and flavorless and looked like baby food (see attached photo). I honestly have had better minestrone soup from a can. My wife ordered a pizza that was extremely heavy on thick dough with very little sauce and cheese and what little sauce there was on the pizza similarly had zero taste. As we sat there extremely disappointed with our food the table next to us appeared to have an even worse experience and left the restaurant without finishing their meals. When the manager tried to apologize for their bad experience the man was so unhappy he said “No, please stop, stop. This food is a catastrophe. Just give me the bill, we will pay and go.” So they paid and left most of the food in the table rather than suffer the indignity of eating the garbage. We on the other hand suffered through it until the bitter end. Seeing the other recent terrible reviews here, it seems our experiences are not anomalies. I just wish I had read them before we decided to go here. In the end this place is just embarrassingly bad. I hope this review will either push the restaurant to be better or at least warn unsuspecting potential customers like we were to avoid paying a lot of money for a truly terrible experience.

Pesto had a very good flavor but the amount of pasta was small. Tiramisu was average.
The water was over priced.

This is the most beautiful restaurant i have ever seen in my life, and the food is nothing short of fantastic. So much attention to detail in both the restaurant and the dishes themselves.
Highly recommend the Truffle Ravioli!
