I didn't enjoy fish at all maybe my taste is different. More garlics no salts a little half cooked thats what i felt. Owner is very hardworking and great guy ambience is beautiful. Nearby Begnash lake, so we can get very nice view. Grilled fish is the most popular item of this restaurant. Sarita Didi and her husband will serve you the food. Had one of the best Grilled Whole Fish ever till now. The flavour is amazingly delicious and smell is so fresh that you will forget everything. The lasun, pyaj and other ingredients makes the fish so tasty that it will stick to you tongue for a long time. Wish we could have such fish in kathmandu. Sidra fry nepali style is also recommended as it is also very tasty. You can visit by road or boat from begnad lake. I recommend by boat for better experience. This is a go to place for Grilled Fish in Pokhara. It's juicy and filled with spices, you get a good burst of flavor. This place is quite far from the city center, but the ride will be worth it for the fish. It can get crowded on weekend, holidays and most often at the end of days. Hospitality of the staffs and the Sarita dd herself commendable. Parking space is plenty. One of the best place to get grill fish in Beganas lake and probably the pioneer in making this area famous for baked and grill fish. But the service was quite slow, and they can definitely improve the ambience. The view of the lake and mountains were great though. Food is okay but not as hyped. Definitely not worth 1hr drive to reach there from lakeside and overpriced for sure. Be ready to pay fancy price for poor customer service.

Amazing hospitality by Sarita di and the grilled fish was second to none! A must visit place while you’re in Majhikuna. Please be mindful that it’s 40 mins to an hour away from main road and the road is extremely rough. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Yesterday we stayed at the original famous place at Majhikuna right now. The original masala fish place. Hari Dai learnt this unique fish cooking skill during his 5 years stay at Dubai. And returned home with this and his hospitality expertise. It is The Sarita Restaurant and Homestay. Not only the food is tasty, the owners are very welcoming and warm. Do visit this place for authentic majhikuna fish and their homely feeling.
