Pop up dinner, Friday 2/23: drop dead fabulous rib eye, perfectly baked, fully dressed jacket potato, corn, garlic bread and pecan cake for dessert. Servings so huge, they graced my table at home tonight too. Enough cake for a third treat tomorrow. Gracious, friendly, prompt staff even though the restaurant was very full, with a short (patient!) line awaiting their turn. My first time at Sax’s, can’t wait to return! When I was in Petaluma looking for a breakfast place, I found Sax’s Joint showed up in my research with almost perfect reviews and all the yummy food pictures. I made my decision to go to Sax’s Joint for breakfast. I am lucky to get a street parking right in front of the restaurant. The servers greeted me as soon as I entered the restaurant. I was seated and ordered my favorite skillet. It was excellent and a very big portion. I also can’t finish it! Lol I was happy to find and enjoy the yummy breakfast and the excellent service when I visited Petaluma at Sax’s Joint. Been wanting to try this little place for a while! Highly recommended by my friends and others here on Google. Very happy I did!! The atmosphere is amazing. The food is great and large portions priced well. I got the club sandwich. It was quite tasty and clear that the turkey had been carved off the bone not deli sliced. BIG points for me there! The food they were putting out was fast, all presentations looked amazing with giant portions ! You need to check it his place out ASAP!! don’t worry if the little diner storefront is packed they have a dining room in back and a patio. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Disappointed with Amanda lack of customer service in forgetting our cinnamon roll and side order. Don’t forget her sarcastic “sorry”. We had to drive all the way back to get this after she forgot twice. We tipped her $4 and showed no customer appreciation to at least void the side charge for our wasted gas and time. She didn’t care at all. Lost a returning Petaluma family. This is the establishment mistake not ours. Teach your employee that customer appreciation and satisfaction is part of a service job! Wonderful place for breakfast! Good food; good portions; good selections. Place is busy, but it seems to move along quick enough. I had a Sax's special which is th like th Original Joe's special - eggs, mushroom; spinach n chesse. Cinnamon roll = forget ur diet. Shakes = diet gone. Hot chocolate - more water than chocolate.
