Just returned and wanted to update my “review”:
The flavors pop … the aesthetic is refined … the music inspired … a sensory feast! As a 20-year Sritanu resident, I’m grateful we finally boast such a sublime gastronomical experience in the “village”. If you haven’t yet ventured to Shalimar, do yourself a favor and dive into a delectable realm that transports you to another world. BTW, the mango, avocado 🥭 🥑 tartare is off-the-charts!

Shalimar is a gem. First, the resort that it is a part of is stunning. Second, the food is amazing. The banana leaf salad was epically delicious, so fragrant with kefir lime leaf and lemon grass. I also loved the chocolate orangettes. My friend and I came for lunch and stayed for 5 hours, it was that welcoming. Transparently, I visited Shalimar when it first opened (maybe 8 months ago?) and was utterly disappointed with the flavorless food. Now that the restaurant is under new management and has a revamped menu, I look forward to returning again and again. Thank you! Most exceptional and elegant culinary experience in Sritanu. 🤍🌿

First of all, their food is 100% made by vegetable but made me absolutely nothing to be not satisfied. All dishes were work of art, both in presentation and taste. All detail was perfect 😳
Also the interior of restaurant is a literally elegant and sophisticated design. You'll feel like you're visiting a palace in somewhere 🕌

It's the kind of unforgettable place.
The place is exceptional and the history of the restaurant even more so. You feel good directly entering the restaurant. We tasted incredible dishes, the cuisine is refined and excellent. The menu was created by a French naturopath with 15 years of experience and an Indian chef, with 9 years of experience in plant-based cuisines.
They only use the highest quality ingredients. The menu is entirely plant-based and free of gluten, soy and starch. They only use cold pressed extra virgin oils in a slow and light cooking process… But the dishes are indulgent, satisfying and delicious!
I hope you will have the chance to come and eat in this exceptional restaurant and that you will enjoy Shalimar's garden not in Pakistan but in Koh Phangan 😘🤤
My partner and I stayed at Shanti Rock Residence for 4 days and it's a real haven of peace.
The restaurant adjoining the residence is a gem. We're not vegetarians and I was spectical at the idea of going to this type of establishment... But it was an incredible culinary discovery.
The manager and chef are extremely friendly and professional. The Shawarma, the avocado toast and the gnocchi were delicious.
Highly recommended if you stay in Pha-Ngan

I’ve been to many vegan restaurants in the world in my life . This is BY FAR one of the BEST VEGAN PLACE I ever ate. Everything is HIGH QUALITY INGREDIENTS. All very tasty and the execution of each meal is perfect. Please go take a look at this little gem . You cannot go wrong with this place .

This is my second time at Shalimar Restaurant. I ordered Green Creamy Bagel and it is indeed Creamy! ✨ I like the Bagel, it’s fresh, light, easy to bite and just enough crispiness. The mushrooms inside are tasty! They’re soft and cooked perfectly. You can always add salt & pepper ( available on each table) if you prefer a little bit of salt to your food. Now let’s talk about the Bubble Gum Shake! This is my favorite! It’s a light fun shake to have any time of the day! Highly recommend if you’re looking for new flavors to try! The dried jackfruit is a good compliment to the whole shake. 🙏🏻
