I have tasted or eat several times Haleem of shalimar Alkhobar branch taste of Dammam branch is not same. Here Haleem is not satisfactory, hence i want to give 2.5 out if 5
Too spicy and quantity is less.
Customer dont dismay yourself, may be this shalimar and one in Alkhobar is not same
We ordered Mutton Biryani.
Taste was so so. Rice & Mutton quantity was less.
And most importantly the RICE was not BASMATI RICE which must be used in Biryani.
it was Boiled RICE which isused in QABSA RICE.

An outstanding experience, an out of the world dinner. 10000000% recommended. Must come. Only ask for Mutton biryani or palao. If you are , either Pakistani or Indian or Bangladeshi. You'll gonna love it. You'll feel you are at your place back in your respective countries sitting around in your city and have a great bachiya ki biryani. Rice in the cauldron(steel handia).
Two person 1 cauldron is enough. Cause you'll have free rice as much as you can eat.

One of the best Indian Biryani you can have in Khobar!!
I have been visiting this restaurant every alternate weeks to satisfy my taste buds. Everytime, they exceed my expectations. Their speciality lies in Mutton Biryani, Meat pieces will melt in your mouth and you can enjoy all the savouries of spices in the rice. This justifies the true defination of Hyderabadi (Indian State) Mutton Biryani.
Also, I would recommend you to have Mutton fry or chicken 65 along with it to have varieties in your meal.
Overall pricing is decent. Worth every penny you spend in this restaurant. Even the service time is quick. They won't give you a chance to complain.
This place is located in the Seiko Market in Dammam, Near Big mosque.
Nearby you can find Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi restaurants. Also, there's a big market for fruits and vegetables, plus you can surf around the locality to explore about other essentials. Specially fresh meat and Arabian fragrances.
My usualy mode of transport is via Careem (Local Cab App) which charges me around 25-30 riyals one way trip. While returning from the location, I prefer local cabs without the use of application to bargain. This was I spend about 20 Riyals to get back to my location in Al-Khobar.
If you are in tthe eastern Province, you should surely pay visit in their Shamaliya outlet. That place is well maintained unlike the one which is in Dammam.

P.s - They give you unlimited extra rice with Biryani with yogurt salad.

Shalimar restaurant is my favourite hotel in Dammam city. I like this too much. Here the test is delicious. I went there five times. The menu price is also good. This restaurant is located in Seiko market near of Grandmart and Safa hospital. I go there once at least in a week. I mean in that place I go for marketing every week. The location of restaurant is perfect. Here too many people come and go everyday. Because this is main market of Dammam. So many strangers come to this hotel. This is good for Indians. But on board there is also written about chinese menu.
