According to some reviews, hot dogs are good at Sheetz. Visitors don't like beer and coffee at this place. Unfortunately, employees are courteous as most guests mention. This spot has been rated below average by Google.
I pass this sheetz everyday on my way to work so I frequent it often at 0530-0600 in the morning. If you need any kind of service from an actual employee DO NOT VISIT THIS STORE. It always seems that the two people making food have no idea people are in the store, and the one person on the Cash register is usually no where to be found. Expect to wait 5-10 minutes just to speak with an unhappy employee that doesn’t seem they want to be there. Do not go here if you are on your way to work. It’s only the morning, if I come in on my way home around 2000 there are plenty of j
Happy employees ready to help you
Won't ever use the drive thru again. Sat for 10 mins waiting on 1 drink that didn't even have its flavoring and probably the extra energy boost. I just sat there and watched all the workers just walking around on their phones. Horrible service. Won't spend money here again
Had a really bad experience at the drive thru. Ordered my food, drove up to window 1, paid, pulled up to window 2 and waited for my food. The lady who brought me my food seemed in a rush (understandably so) accused me of not paying. I said I did pay. She continued claiming that I didn't but then said that's fine as she had other customers in line and didn't have time. She handed me my food. I immediately checked my credit card transactions on my phone and saw that there was a charge, but it had also been returned, presumably a system error or an error by the cashier. So I honked and had the lady open the window hoping to explain that the charge had been returned and I would like to make the payment. However, she had no patience to listen to me and before I could say a word, she said she had no time to argue with me. When I tried opening my mouth to respond to her, she closed the window on my face and simply yelled from the inside: "LEAVE!". I had no intention of taking the blame for not paying and accepting "charity". So I walked in to explain the situation and hoped that I could make it right and pay the money. When I went in, the lady plainly ignored me as I was talking to her. Felt like a complete idiot for trying to make things right and possibly point out a system error. All I needed was a "I'm sorry, thanks for pointing it out". Instead, after me standing there trying to talk to her with her ignoring me, she finally looks at me with exasperation and says, "I don't know why you are arguing with me, I said HAVE... A... NICE... DAY...". Humiliated, I left again. My conscience didn't allow me to accept the free food and take the blame for something I didn't do, so I walked in again after a couple of minutes. What ensued was an argument again, when again, my only intention was to pay for my food. Again, no apology. Only rudeness, peppered with "honey" and "the food's on us", which was meaningless at that point. Again, humiliated, with no apology, I had to leave. I love the food at Sheetz, but this kind of treatment goes against any human sensibilities. Can we learn to be more empathetic and compassionate? I understand you were overworked, so I wanted to help by showing some compassion, pointing out an error, making it right, only to get yelled at and plain be undervalued as a human??? I have worked in a similar job in the past too, and I totally understand the pressure, especially at peak times. But this kind of treatment was totally uncalled for. Totally uncalled for.
This Sheetz appears quite small in contrast to others in the area. It also seems to be suffering from the same inconvenience as many others, no employees being present at or paying attention to the registers. There were employees that could be heard conversing toward the back room but no attention being paid to customers in the store. They must assume that every customer is going to use or be able to use the self checkout. Over all the store and lot were clean which can not be said for some others in the area which was a plus but the lack of customer awareness was a let down.
Slow service. Waited 5 minutes a front desk to pay. Finally I called the store on my cell and told them I was ready to pay. 7am Tuesday. Consistently understaffed.
The black guy who was working at 2:30am on 5/14/23 was the nicest person I’ve ever met. He was so polite, helpful, and respectful. He was working very hard as he was one of just few workers that morning, but he still maintained the most respectable manners.
First time back after their remodeling.
Their food was good.
The price is normal compared to fast food restaurants.
I like that I can pick what I want and don't want on the touch screen.
