Lovely little coffee place great for breakfast. The waffles and spam egg pita were very yummy. A few options for hand drip coffee available. We chose the dark roast cos' we prefer smokey coffee. Really enjoy the good cup of coffee after being on the go for 24hours yesterday. Only down side is it can get stuffy and warm nearer the door. But no complains as we managed to get a seat. Any later and there won't be seats. If there's no more parking here, you can park nearby at the park that's free. This place was a cute "American" coffee shop. Mostly young ladies and couples there. The coffee (hand drip) was good, and the sweet potato scone was okay (a little dry). I sat near the front of the cafe, and as others have said, it was quite stuffy/warm despite the windows being open. I think sitting outside or on the sofa in the back would be more comfortable. Nice atmosphere and delicious looking pastries/cakes when you walk in to order. The menu is limited for brunch, but the food is pretty good. The syrup for the waffles was really good, not too thick. The chicken was nice and crispy with a tasty flavor. The union st sandos were nice, wish they had a 2nd slice of ham though. The potatoes that came with the sando were really good. Nice seating inside and very clean. Loved the 90s music and general look and feel of the place. Parking is available for a limited number of cars too. Warm, bright and cosy café at lake Kawaguchiko. After walking in the cold, gloomy weather I was happy to step into this café. The coffee is very good and the cake delicious - portions are generous therefore I asked for half a slice. The lady at the counter was so incredibly nice and attentive, she packed the other half of the cake in a takeaway bag, without me even asking for it. I highly recommend coming here!
