Great brunch options. Perfectly poached eggs and generous amount of ham and salmon with the eggs Benedict/florentine. Banana bread wasn’t the biggest slice but it was lovely. Coffee was tasty and well made - despite the lack of latte art. They use Peoples coffee beans which makes for a lovely coffee if made well - which it was! Great place for tea/coffee and cake. We had tea and cinnamon and date scones. Scones were delicious! Staff are great too. Recommend dropping in if you are in the area. We called in after whale watching. Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had 2 breakfasts here while in Kaikoura, both times were excellent! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Coffee was good too. Highly recommend! The eggs benedict with ham hock is a must! Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Such a nice place. Lovely staff and amazing food and drinks. We went for a very elaborate lunch and needed to come back the next morning for another great breakfast. Came in to Simes after biking the kaikoura cycle trail and was treated to an utterly delicious lunch and one of the best iced lattes I've had. Plenty of gluten free and vegan options available also. Would 100% recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely coffees and service was fab! Food was tasty, just a bit pricey for some of the meals and add-ons in my opinion. Possibly relative to the area though.
