The food was very good. I had the fish and chips, one of my favorites. I'm pretty picky about what I consider good and this definitely passes the test. A lot of thick fish, cod, and thin batter and it was hot and flavorful. The fries were also hot and very good. The only downside was the coleslaw. It had no flavor. The dressing they use was basically tasteless so it was pretty much like eating chopped cabbage. I ate here on December 4th, 2023. The people that work there are lovely and the service was decently fast. The fries were delicious, but all three fish filets I received appeared to be all coating and no flesh. I’m not sure if they were overly-fried, but there was no meat there and it was absolutely not worth the money.

I came to the Sandy Slapfish for the first time ever tonight around 8:00 PM, and despite the late hour, the employees were cheerful, energetic, and pleasant to talk to. I ordered a tuna salad to eat in store, as well as an order of fish & chips to bring home to my husband. The salad was SO fresh and delicious. All the vegetables were crisp, colorful, and flavorful. Even after the drive home, the fish & chips were so good. The breading is light and flaky, with so much fish inside! I will definitely return to try out more of the menu. Fish and Chips was Excellent! Best fish I've ever had! First time here and fell in love! Great presentation as well. Denise was friendly and very helpful with my order at the Sandy location. The food is so fresh! I enjoyed fish and chips which were awesome. My husband had the seared Tuna with salad. Everything was perfect. The restaurant was clean and well kept. Very attentive staff.
