Traditional & tasty breakfast, reasonable prices, very busy during the weekend and the place is quite small, so you’ll have to wait in line for a bit, you’ll also need to wait for your order to get prepared.. it’s worth the wait though 👍
It’s a modest place, nothing fancy, quite the opposite, but it’s a must-try during your stay in Essaouira

As a traveller this is a perfect treat. Felt like local breakfast, authentic, small, the server is very attentive and works very quick with morrocan arrabic aurora.
I walked around the shore and found this place by accident. Ate and sat for about an hour and a half. I could stay longer...to feel the air of Essaouira...to feel the love from this magic land.

This bustling Moroccan breakfast spot, situated outside the medina, boasts an exceptional sea view, adding to its unique charm. The atmosphere is lively, reflecting the local culture and energy of the area. The food, a delightful array of traditional Moroccan dishes, is both delicious and prepared with impressive speed, ensuring a fresh and flavorful experience. The service is efficient, complementing the overall enjoyable dining experience.
However, it’s worth noting that its popularity can lead to queues, especially during busy weekend mornings. The wait is a testament to the quality and appeal of the establishment. Patrons often find themselves mingling with a diverse crowd, from locals to tourists, all drawn in by the renowned breakfast offerings. So, if you’re planning a visit, consider going a bit earlier to beat the rush, or embrace the wait as part of the authentic local experience. Either way, the culinary delights that await are sure to make it worthwhile.

We went here almost every day on our trip to Essaouira. The staff is friendly and service is quick compared to other restaurants in the area. Very good food for very low prices The tea is a must-try!
The place is always packed with locals, which is a testament to the quality of the restaurant!
Our favorites on the menu are Bissara soup, omelette with tomatoes and batbout with honey.
We didn't try the tajine because there are no vegetarian options, but we must say they looked delicious.

Lovely authentic family owned cafe.
The owner is really polite and speaks fluent English (plus a handful of other languages too!).
They do breakfast options all served with fresh Morocco bread. And in the afternoon/evening they have dinner options such as Tajine, freshly cooked. Mint tea too of course!
Always a pleasant atmosphere and the most popular with the local people by far.
Ate here twice a day for a whole week :)
Holidayed in Essaouira for 2 weeks and a large part of that experience was my almost daily breakfast here... The food tastes good, is traditionally Moroccan and is wonderful value. What really drew me back time and time, every morning, was the professional, attentive and always friengly staff. ... 11/10 for me... A big thank you for feeding me so well and with a smile... Merci/Shkran/Thanks 😊
