The friendliest service and some of the best pizza I've ever had. We went in for Francesinha on the one night (because we hear they serve the best ones in town) but they weren't serving them until Monday. However, the staff helped us find a place that was, even showing us on google maps where the best place to go was. We came back the next night because the pizza smelt so good and we were not disappointed. We'll definitely be returning the next time we visit Ponta Delgada. We four Canadians loved the pizza and really appreciated the way we were treated while dining here. We arrived when the kitchen was closed. The staff saw that we were hungry and disappointed that we had just missed the lunch time service. We were then told they would go ahead and cook us. what turned out to be an amazing pizza. Your kindness , quality pizza and service won't soon be forgotten! Do yourself a favour and visit here! You will be happy that you did! Came here because it had good reviews and as soon as we walked in they refused us service and made us leave. Not friendly at all, would leave 0 stars if I could. Picture of reply I got back. We were not talked to by anyone of why we could not eat there. All we got was a head shake no and not very friendly face from one of the cooks. It would have been appreciative and we could’ve had a better understanding if communication was used. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I googled “best pizza in Sao Miguel” and this place came up. So I made a reservation for four of us with no problem at all and we took a taxi from our hotel. The restaurant is small but the staff is super friendly. Our pizza was delicious—good homemade crust (relatively thin), quality meat toppings and good cheese. The four of us are from a town in Canada that has a large Italian population and we know our pizza. This was Good! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely pizzas, served quickly and courteously by friendly staff, my husband and myself had two small pizzas, one pepperoni and the other a Hawaiian, with drinks. Made a very welcome change to all the fish offerings served up by the restaurants on the island! Small, simple cafe but great pizza at reasonable price. Very impressed by compassion of staff when dealing with a problem that arose for another patron. Very helpful to us as well and kindly addressed us in English as we cannot communicate in Portuguese Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A week ago, I ordered a pizza and when I came back 30 min later, I didn't know it was cash only. I had lots of trouble with the ATM nearby and didn't know what to do. They gave me the pizza for free. Thank you very much for this kind gesture!! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Service: 5

My wife and I came here twice during our stay at Ponta Delgada. The pizza was fresh and delicious and the staff were very helpful and spoke English well. On our final night in town, we came here to spend our remaining Euros. We enjoyed a nice pizza with chourico and two beers for under 16 Euros.
