We went to Sonic Saturday around Noon and first we had to wait for 30 minutes to get our food and when we finally got it my wife’s chicken sandwich had a slider size piece of chicken on it. This location would be a really nice spot for a restaurant or some other fast food. I have never had good service at this location. They just need to bulldoze this place down and put a real restaurant in its place. Ordered a medium drink small fry to go. That was it . Place was not busy I think there was 2 cars in the parking lot and a car the employees keep playing with. After 20 minutes I left and went to McDonald's. I don't like leaving bad reviews. But 20 minutes when you aren't busy and it wasn't a busy time of the day is ridiculous and bad management. I come into this Sonic this morning ordered what I wanted and made it around to the first window. Handed the guy my card and he responded with it just declined. Looked at my bank statement something had pulled out that I did not realize and did not have any more money on my account. I don't keep a lot of cash on me so I called my wife and tried to get her to send me some money unfortunately she was unable. The guy looked at me and said don't worry about it. The type person that I am I couldn't just say okay bye so I pulled over tried to find some cash that might have had on me that I didn't realize but unfortunately it didn't have it. The manager and the employee that helped me out this morning I really want to say thank you guys because you could have took the food back and let me drive off. I'm not going to post my number on here but if The manager of the store replies to this I will send the money to you somehow or get it to you. It was like 7:50 for my meal this morning it's not much but it's the principle. I don't live in Thomasville I'm constantly out on the road. I went through the drive thru and ordered a couple large pb n bacon shakes. They were awesome nice n thick and a perfect balance of pb n bacon.A nice girl named Ashley took my order she also made my shakes and oh yeah Ashley brought me my order to the window... it's crazy that one person had to do it all while other employees stood around playing on their phone...way to run the show great job Ashley without you this sonic would be in trouble... My absolutely horrible experience today started by walking by the two people prepping food smoking within 2 ft of the customer entrance. Walked right through a cloud of smoke listening to them complain about having to wear a hat. The only good part of my visit was the young lady at the counter taking my order. The people outside smoking came in and went to their stations. No washing hands. While waiting an extremely long time for my order being the only customer in the dining area I observed the man preparing food with no gloves no washing of hands and sending it on its way. When I received my food I said the guy made my food without gloves and that is violating code 301.11 and I'm disgusted. All I got for a response was I know we've been telling him. No refund no offer to remake my meal nothing. There were several serv-safe violations in the kitchen but I am so disgusted by the handling of people's food. I've been to this location over the last several years uncountable times and the food was always great. I haven't been here in a little while it was way to expensive and my order was screwed up. I've just wasted 10.00 at this location. The fries were redropped in grease. The burger had lettuce that was so old and soft. I tried to eat it but was afraid that I would have ro call out of work tomorrow. Truly disappointed. I would have rather rolled down my window and thrown my money out than eat what I was just given. The people here were friendly, apologized at any inconvenience that i may have experienced, the order was correct, the lady just gave mé extra napkins anticipating what I might need, was fast and the food great as usual, highly recommend this little péice on the. Thomasville strip.

Inwas going to but my spirit wouldnt ler me keep this to myself. Yes 9/25/23 at 12:15pm I had ordered the number 3 super sonic meal through the drive at the Thomasville NC location at 603 Randolph st. As I returnd to my job and began eating my meal. I ate the tots first because I don't like cold fries or tots. As I began to take bit out of my burger I notice that it was not what I ordered as well as it was old meat. I return to the store ans went inside where I show the burger to one of the cashiers and explain it was not what I ordered and it was old meat. She agreed and asked for a remake with fresh meat. I could clearly see every move the person cooking the new burger was making. As I watched he cook fresh burger bit did not put them on my sandwich. Instead he placed them in a container and took out other burgers from the container and place them on my sandwich. Now mind you he used his hands with the same gloves he had had on prior to me coming inside. So as i checked the burger and showed it to the cashier and stated that this was not tburgers he had cooked. She began to argue with me as well as some guy that was just sitting in the lobby with some kids. The guy claim to be the general manager (Wesley) but was not in any type of uniform identifying him as an employee there. He langue and attitude was very disrespectful. The cashier who i can assume is in some type of relationship with him tried to get him to be quiet. The staff with exception of the person who took my order all began to try an argue with me. To make a long story short they were very disrespectful they Wesley guy made verbal threats and accused me of trying get free food. He used racial ( the N word) verbiage towards me as well attempted to follow me to my car until the girl stopped him. This very appalling to ha received Such disrespect. I have ordered from there serveral times and have never had a problem. Bottom line is I will never eat or order from there again.
