We have been here several times and have loved it each and time. Food is fantastic. Good service. It is usually busy and you will probably have to wait. It is 100% worth the wait. The Chilean sea bass was great. I have had grouper here and it was great. The shrimp and grits and the shrimp pasta are fantastic. Highly recommend the bread puddings for dessert. Our favorite local restaurant. It is every bit as good as the fancy places we have eaten in Charleston, SC which is a renowned food city. My husband surprised me by reserving a table here for my birthday. The food was out of this world!! We had the smoked salmon dip, shrimp and grits , banana bread pudding , and crab Cajun Alfredo . The dessert was mouth watering, and the food had amazing flavors. I’m drooling thinking about it. What makes the place even better is that it’s ran by a local family. If you ever get the chance to go here don’t pass it up. Lovely atmosphere . Make reservations due to it being small. I can’t wait to go back. Being from New Orleans we have to say, we were very happy with the atmosphere, service and most of all the wonderful food. They do a great service to the Cajun cuisine. We will be back and try everything on the menu. This is the place to go if you have had a New Orleans experience in great food. This is a little slice of southern heaven. Just save room for the bread pudding dessert, because you will want to eat it all. The special dessert was bananas foster bread pudding. Large enough for at least two and spectacular! Jambalaya was top notch, came with cornbread that was moist and sweet. Don't miss this place, you won't regret it! The best new restaurant to open in town in a long time. Started off with Pulled Pork Nachos. Then the Cajun Fettuccine Alfredo. And the Bread Pudding for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great as well. Highly recommended! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
I made a pick up order and the gentleman that answered was incredibly nice! When I went to pick up my food it was quite busy but the server quickly checked in with me to see if I was waiting for a table and directed me to the counter to get my order. It was ready and when I got home the food was still hot. I got a cup of both gumbo types and they were both delicious. I will for sure be back with family soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was great, my wife had Ceaser Salad, my daughter had jambalaya, and I had the steak burger and fries, with blue cheese, mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, and caramelized onions. For desert my wife and daughter split the raspberry, chocolate cake. staff was excellent, friendly, and professional. We got there about 5:30, on a Saturday, they were pretty busy, but their wait estimate was pretty accurate. Definitely will go back. With the difference in quality between a home cooked meal and eating out at an all-time spread, Southern Craft is as close to receiving the level of care you get when preparing your own meal for loved ones. You truly can tell that everything is literally “crafted” there. You don’t get that kind of depth at a chain restaurant. As of now they don’t take reservations, which was a little scary with how small the floor space is (a short bar and less than ten tables). However I was really surprised that the wait was less than 30 minutes and I can wholeheartedly say it was well worth it. The limited base ensures that you get next level care from the wait staff, in the concise menu ensures that you get the quality that I’ve already boasted about. I did forget to take a picture of the menu but you can find it easily on their Facebook page. Having this level of southern authenticity in Parkersburg West Virginia is some thing that I didn’t think I would get to see. From the rue in the gumbo, to the blackened chicken in the Cajun Alfredo, this food is packed with southern flavor. “Make sure you save room for the bread pudding!” The waiter said as he delivered our cocktails. He wasn’t over exaggerating! The bread pudding was the best I’ve had since Gordon Ramsay’s in Las Vegas….topped with a dollop of homemade whipped cream! Wether you have the privilege of living near this family owned business, or you’re just passing through the area, this is well worth your time. Ps, as a K-12 art teacher, I really appreciated the cool art throughout the establishment! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Great atmosphere. Quaint setting. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Service was very good. Small place with a limited menu, but everything we had was very good. Portion size of most items was plentiful. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp and Grits
This place is an absolute gem. The mid Ohio valley really needed something like this and this is by far the best restaurant in the valley. I am so glad a good friend recommended it. This is about as close to New Orleans as you will ever get. Their food is off the chain. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
