Had been here once before and had the best service with amazing food. So we stopped again, only this time was rather different. Smart/sarcastic rude but cheeky waitress. Who luxed while we were eating, then started cutlery washing on a table away from us. Apart from that, great food once again,after steak going back to be cooked to liking, great price if you stay at the #ashburtonbellavista Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–60 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Came here on a Monday. Nice and quiet. The atmosphere was extra chill and the staff were super friendly. Wendy was a gem and an absolute delight to talk to. The brews were well priced at $9 and the food was delicious. Definitely worth stopping in if you want To relax and enjoy a tasty beverage. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a late lunch. Not any places in Ashburton you can sit down for a meal after 2pm. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

6.30 entry and finally ate at 8.10, service very slow. We watched people enter after we did, eat and leave before we had our meals. Food was ok, chicken big portions although a bit dry. Brisket wasn't flavorsome. Disappointed all round, used to be a great place to dine. Maybe it was an off night, but I won't be returning. We were there on Boxing Day (the worst day to judge any place). But service was good, staff friendly, and food was good. Be prepared for a large meal. This isn't the kind of place we have been to before, but will definitely try again.

This is a nice Speight's Ale House. The place had a good atmosphere and some welcoming staff. It is a great place to have a family event and the meals, well no complaints.
