A place made of love! Such a lovely couple with a cute dog. They have created an enchanting place in the middle of the quiet mountain range of the Barrocal. A historical road-maintenance-house has been renovated nicely and with care. They serve excellent coffees of different varieties. A real coffee-tasting experience. And their pastel and pastries including the home-made almond cake where delicious. An oasis to relax and enjoy the holidays.

As we are at the east algarve from time to time we planned to visit the Spot na Serra already since weeks. Just amazing. I never had any vegan food before, so i was really surprised how good the sausage tasted. Thanks Daniel for this treat. ,-). We even bought some local gin and red wine. Highly recommend. Super cute (finally, speciality!!) coffee spot up in the hills of the Algarve - worth travelling for a day exploring the beautiful scenery AND with coffee at this lovely place with super passionate owners Daniel and Apphia and their lovely dog Clover. It was also lovely how, even though their concept is very new for the area, it was full of locals chattering away. Characterful and charming! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Enjoyed a cafe and snacks before setting out for a short hike on PR17 LLE Barranco do Velho. And then tea (local herbs) and snacks afterwards. Daniel and Apphia were friendly and helpful with hiking tips. Seems like a good stop as well if you are driving along N2 (KM 708.3) or N124. All of the food that we tried was great (quiche, orange almond tart, etc.). Both locals and hikers/bikers were enjoying the spot. Recommend. Incredible owners with lovely dog, they are perfect hosts, they showed us the entire house and shared all the stories connected to this place and even made us orange juice with the fruits from their gatden. The coffee was truly next level - we tried out three varieties, all amazing. We had crab croquettes, pastel de nata, home made chocolate and the home made cake... wow.
