My daughter loves this place, so didn't hesitate to order with her but I was very disappointed in the doughnuts I ordered they were very overcooked closer I would say too burnt. OK, an update: I emailed spudz to respond to their feedback only to hear nothing. totally disappointed. they were clearly burnt and I want my money back, please contact me spudz you have my number. Phone ordered a kids cheeseburger with no meat pattie, picked up order, said: theres no meat in the burger aye? He said: oh u told the lady on the phone, I said yes, he sed ok yes, got home, Meat in the burger 😡 fries are also average, and barely any salt Reply to your response, no you did NOT say it doesn't come with salad, I also DID say kids cheeseburger meal with NO MEAT PATTIE, AND NO SALAD, so u just didn't listen! Beef, bacon & pineapple burgers with chips.. Great value, excellent quality & taste. Able to dine in but chose to eat it across the road at a park. Highly recommend if in the area! Sadly, the fish tasted like the sea, the meat itself was watery with no flavour, and the batter was not crispy, but it was still wet and stuck to the fish. My husband and I were trying to work out if it had been frozen 😕 even my 18 month old wouldn't eat it when she normally would. It was packaged nicely and chips were fine, except too much salt, but really disappointing that we couldn't even eat our food we had paid for. Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience at all. The fish was obviously a large cheap variety that was very strong as they all had huge bloodlines through them The batter was thick and greasy and the chips, although plentiful and well cooked were not salted. Spudz is great if you're gluten free and want a traditional fish and chip meal! The batter is so crispy and delicious, they cook the GF stuff in a separate fryer so it's Coliac safe. Reasonably priced, the young girl at the front of house almost never smiles though haha but apart from that it was great! I must say I was disappointed in the chips portion size. I paid $30 x2 $15 meals 2 Hoki and fish. But my the chips looked like it would just about manage to feed 1 to be honest. Really disappointing. I assumed it the $15 x2 Hoki and fish would be for 2. I can't see where to reply. Just seen you said it generally had 1/2 scoop then please say this in your ad. 1/2 scoop of chips for 1 person because some of us usually only order 1 piece of fish per person. So I bought this for my family of 4. And yes 1/2 scoop for 2 or 1 scoop for 4 people is not enough.

I use to love coming to spudz and supporting local . There has been many times I have gone there thinking no I'll give them a chance but no. The fish smell off always over cooked saturated in oil the pack a disappointed and expensive definitely the portion and the quality i all so feel sick after eating my meals and don't want to waste my food.
