Rude and unfriendly. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with blank stares and dirty looks, the male bartender (older) doesn't even welcome you or say hello or even acknowledge you unless you go up to the bar to get a drink. The whole place has a very uncomfortable feel to it. I went to the soup cook off in march and the bar tender looked at me like I was a complete idiot when I asked him who I pay for testing in the cook off... He literally had no idea what was going on in the bar he was working at.. It was annoying and made me want to just leave and never go back... Definitely won't be visiting this place again and will warn off all other visitors considering going there...

Not a wecloming friendly enviornment at all. People that work there are incompetent morons. I went there for a soup cook off and when i went to give the bar tender money all he did was shrug his shoulders and say "uhhh i dont know" completely clueless about the event being hosted by the bar he was working at... i guess that's what everyone should expect from an amsterdam bar located right in the slums. Dont waste your time going here. They sure dont know how to bring in business or welcome customers...
