Starbucks is remarkable for its nice service. You will definitely appreciate the pleasant atmosphere. As for the Google rating, this place got 4.2.

Stopped by on two separate occasions this week because of their convenient location. On the first day I was told there was a 45 minute wait for drinks and the second attempt I was told there was a 30 minute wait for drinks. Yea right. If I wanted to wait over a half hour for coffee I would just grind my own beans at home. Too many local coffee houses to wait upwards of an hour in Tupelo, MS.

I've never had a bad experience at any location until today. The Gloster Street, Tupelo, MS location was a giant mess. I did a mobile order because I know they can stay busy. It said my order would be done at 5:03 PM. I go inside and let them know that I did put drive-thru by accident inside of picking up inside. She told me they were a little behind. Understandable. There was a man that was waiting in front of me for his mobile order. He asked about it. He asked him if the app told him when it would be ready. He said yes, it was supposed to be 4:57 PM. She apologized for it being behind. I'm not sure why she apologized to him for waiting an extra couple of minutes, because he walked out at 5:04 PM. She also told him to make sure to come back and enjoy a drink on her. As I'm standing there, numerous people walked in, went to the counter and ordered (I watched them order AND pay), receive their drinks, and leave. My drink was supposed to be done at 5:03 PM. I didn't walk out of that store until 5:28 PM! I waited 25 minutes while a few others got theirs ahead of me. I never received an apology of any sorts. Highly disappointed in how it was all handled. Long line as always. When I arrived at the window, I handed the young lady my card. She handed me the entire terminal and said here, you have to hold it, it is going to ask you a question. I ensured her I could read it, if she would only hold it I could press the button for her tip. She held it out and turned away. She just said it will ask you a question. I don't know if this has to do with the whole tip culture or what but everyone that used a card has held that. It was pretty lame. Do we tip McDonald's workers too? Serious question to consider even though I always tip 🤷‍♀️ why are Starbucks workers any different? Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I ordered an Iced Matcha Tea Latte and i asked for 2 pumps of white mocha and 1 pump of vanilla and they gave it to me hot. Then i told them it was wrong they got it back and they gave it back to me and it was still wrong. It looked brown and when i tasted it taste like chocolate milk. Such a disappointment. I will be going to the Starbucks in Barnes & Noble from now on. Food: 1 Service: 3

Coffee isn't as good as it once was. I've been to this Starbucks several times and a white mocha should n-o-t taste differently every time. What can I say? It's Starbucks. Their coffee and service is always on point. Our drive-thru server was friendly, professional, and had a great sense of humor. Using the app to order ahead and running in to pick up is super easy. Order is always ready and waiting for me. I like that you don't have to wait in line to pick up the order. They have an area just for these orders and you simply find the one with your name and out you go to carry on with your day! Great local Starbucks with a drive-thru and easy access from the highway. They have more seating than most small Starbucks chains - including a large conference table. Fast Wifi, full menu and fast & friendly service. Great staff!

The baristas are more concerned with goofing off than doing their job. I walked in 10 minutes after my order's pick up by time. They stated that all orders are taking 20-30 minutes not the time stated on the app. I said you need to call corporate and have them adjust the pick up time. They said they can't do that. Probably because if they did, they'd be admitting that they're not working efficiently. On top of that, they had a snide thank you for your patience remark as I was walking out of the door. Service floor was so dirty and table tops were sticky, dining area was full of cardboard boxes and trash on the floor. I made an online order and sat there for 13 minutes before going up and asking for my beverage. The women working didn't take a second of her time to say 'hey I've noticed you've been sitting for a while, what are you waiting on' my drink was placed in the drive through line rather than the online ordering line.
