Expired items! After discovering we were given months old milk, we brought it back to see if they can replace it. Manager did not come out to help and instead of just giving us a new, non-expired, chocolate milk, we were given a cup of poured white milk. Not the type to complain but I would prefer to receive what I paid for. Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

Im not sure why this Starbucks has such negative reviews online. I love this location. I know that this is not a "corporate" Starbucks or whatever (meaning they are privately owned and do not participate in every program). However, I love the beachy vibes of this location. They really go all out to make the Starbucks feel like you are at the beach. Even though it is not a corporate Starbucks, I was still able to use my Starbucks card and earn stars. Typically, I would avoid fast-food coffee at the beach (there are a ton of great places down here that aren't Starbucks i.e. Positively 4th Street) but it was early and I was craving Pike's Place. Most coffee shops in OCNJ don't open until 7am but this one is ready at 6. If you are downtown early, this is your spot.

Aside from paying an extra $1 for a small coffee, it was extremely uncomfortable watching the bored young team member obsessively fondle her long hair and then make and serve coffee and food with her unwashed hands. As I'm writing this another young woman I have not seen in the 45 minutes I've been sitting here come out and put her hair in a ponytail, while also wiping her nose with her bare hands and then proceed to work without washing her hands... 🤢 Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

This location is rather cute for a Starbucks, but the service and drinks? Both didn't live up to the decor. A pumpkin spice latte comes with what? Whipped cream and sprinkled flavor, correct? Not here. Even after showing the employees what one should look like as presented on the app, they looked very confused. I had to walk them through how to make the drinks. I am pretty sure they still have no clue how to make coffee. And I have not even mentioned it was flavorless. Basically I paid for brown water. Avoid this Starbucks all costs. Nice Starbucks, very big inside. Very crowded. There is no « official parking » but there is some in the streets nearby.

as others have alluded to, be aware this Starbucks has different policies than most. they don't honor awards on the app, and they don't offer free refills in the cafe. service is a little slow, overall acceptable but not fantastic. the cafe space is nice but it's not as A/C cooled as other locations, and I've often seen flies around in the summer. Dear owner you need to put up signage our Starbucks store good name rides on the good vibes of corporate Starbucks ie not with free refills you don't. You don't do this. You ought to put up a sign saying as much. Unless you do know better but want our business ; then to have your employee explain that " you're not exactly " the Starbucks everyone knows, sans airport. Right? Price per person $10–20

I needed a caffeine pick-me-up and made the mistake of going to this Starbucks. They charge you MORE if you ask for no ice! This trip cost me the price of three drinks at any other Starbucks. Their rationale? “We’re not corporate.” #Starbucks - you can do better.
