The crispy chicken submarine was better than the crispy chicken burger. The crispy breast was very good, but a bit spicy. Nothing is not spicy in Sri Lanka 😅
But all in all, very nice people and great service. We went there late but it wasn't that slow as people said in other comments. Or we were having too much fun chatting
Stopped by on my way from the train station - great surprise! The space is very chill and nicely decorated. I had the chicken kottu - which was served in a very big portion but without enough protein, so I ordered a chicken skewer too. Everything was delicious (skewers come in very small portions, which was perfect for me)
The staff was super attentive and welcoming, really enjoyed my meal there.

Good looking small cafe. The major problem is that there is no any parking area.
But the food and the service was awesome.we ordered chicken submarine and cheese chicken kottu. Submarine was very tasty but cheese kottu is not much tasty as i expected. (But its ok). And the tamarind+ginger beer mojito was awesome.also prices are reasonable.

I checked out many newly opened restaurants in Kandy recently and almost all of them have been very disappointing. But not Mystery Meat.
They don't have parking facilities so need to do so on the main road, which is possible only after 6PM.
Service is acceptably good. The staff had a good idea of the kitchen to table process and was able to recommend different menus based on the portion and preference.
We ordered different dishes and all of them were to our satisfaction.
Kids loved their burgers and Submarines. Adults loved their Chops, burgers and drinks.
Overall this place is not a disappointment. Did not hesitate to recommend to few friends and I will come back myself again. 👍👍👍👍👍

Their hospitality was very good, and the staff were very friendly and interactive.
We ordered Seafood chow mein, chicken koththu added with cheese and a crispy chicken burger.
Good sized portions, definitely enough for a single person and the price is fair
Seafood chowmein was topped with fried prawns and bullseye.
Chicken koththu came with a portion of chicken and there were chicken pieces in the koththu as well.
And the crispy chicken burger was also equally good and quite large actually! (Good for people with big mouths 😮😁)
Overall, a very good experience!

The burger was just amazing. Never have I ever had trouble biting down on burger in bite, but with this I had trouble, that's how big it was. The chicken was perfectly cooked with a crispy coating, Fried egg, nice caramelized onions and fresh vegetables, topped with cheese sauce. Everything well went together. With great ambiance and friendly staff, definitely a place you wanna visit again and again.
