Degust nicely cooked potato salads, beef brisket and smoked chicken at this bbq. The good banana pudding is exactly what many guests want to get here. You will be offered good beer. It's nice to order great tea. Strick's BBQ is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Democratic prices are what you will pay for your meal. As some visitors mention, the weak point of this place is the bad decor. The pretty atmosphere will be exactly just what you need after a long working day. This spot is ranked 4.3 within the Google grading system.

In town on business from Detroit. Looked up local fair and found some great places. Stricks being one of them. I gotta say it did not disappoint overall. Went twice in a 2 week span. Ordered the combo with bouban pecan Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese,cornbread. With a slice of their strawberry white cake. Was very good. Some of the items were a Lil over done. Not terrible. 2nd trip ordered the same with a slice of pecan pie. I would definitely recommend. Than pecan pie. Total bliss. Overall the food was pretty damn good. Honey bbq is king out of the sauces. Customer service did vary for me. But a great experience, will be back again if I get the chance. That pecan pie doe. Pink in middle of chicken. Stated cooked to 150 degrees in the middle. Thought it is supposed to be cooked all the way since it's not steak to 165 degrees to up to 175 degrees. Dismissive and wanted to debate instead of fixing the issue. Very racist vibes. Never listen to reviews from the owner's friends and family posted here. See why the place was empty. First time here - loved the atmosphere- was slightly disappointed. Wasnt that hungry for lunch and so I thought I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich with a dollop of coleslaw and a side of beans. What I got was a brisket platter disguised as a sandwich. Points off for the fact I had to remove some meat so I could eat it as a sandwich. The amount of coleslaw was basically a 'side' of slaw. The brisket bark was terrific and the slices were moist an tender. Didn't need a lot BBQ sauce if any. All Very Tasty. I was forced to eat more than I wanted. Very good BBQ. They have their own sauces. Been there a few times and just getting around to reviewing. Either myself or my group have had just about everything on the menu. Went by to pay for a Christmas order, placed in store two days previous. I waited patiently for 20 minutes for the young lady to look for the order. Older short bald man comes out to say that no order was placed because it was not paid for. I told him the young lady was looking for the order and to give her a few more minutes, because I was there to pay. In the mean time I walk over to the second register to wait. The older man and the new employee (who took the order) find the order by the 2nd register. He then turns to the employee and tells her this is not where the orders belong. He rudely turns to me with attitude like I did something wrong and says “do you want the order or not.” I respond with “I’m just trying to pay for the order.” He then goes on “we’re not going to go back and forth. Do you want the order or not.” I did pay because it was food for Christmas dinner. Walked out the door, turned around went back in and got a refund. I will not do business with people who treat customers like this. The young ladies were ok but the older bald man was rude, unprofessional, and gave racist vibes. No accountability for their mistake. I do not recommended them at all and will never go back!!!! Service: 1

Now this probably the most southern, southern food I've had and I'm southern. Like like every grandma in town was back there cooking. The buffet was excellent and the ribs where pretty good, not fall off the bone kind but I'm not complaining considering they're part of the buffet. I will be back.
