Delicious food, accompanied by excellent service. The interior furnishings of the dining areas are also commendable. It stands out as one of the best restaurants for gatherings, offering various private dining rooms to cater to different preferences. The largest room even features karaoke. Came for Yum Cha on a weekday and it was reasonably busy. They have both downstairs and upstairs areas, with Private Rooms also. They have their own carpark behind the restaurant, so no need to pay for parking on the street. The food is tasty and freshly made. Excellent flavours and lovely atmosphere for a gathering. Tried dinner at 5.30pm tonight. Food came out fast and the dishes were good size and very tasty.

Fancy yum Cha place. The atmosphere is grand with the high ceilings and hill top view of Albany. The dim sum pieces were huge, tasty and filling. Flash new facilities and space. Owner was very accommodating. Though when it's busy, you could be unattended for a while or have to wait a long time for a table. Best place in the Shore for yum cha at the moment. Siew mai and har gow are big with no fatty bits unlike some other restaurants. Very nice fancy environment, fast service once seated but you do have to wait a bit to get a table during busy lunch periods. Take a number, select your dishes while waiting and once seated, hand your filled out orders and viola, your dishes is served not long after. Food quality is good for NZ standards. We spent $120 for 10 dim sum dishes for 4 pax. Wait staff and senior bosses are very attentive to queries when approached. Only thing would make things better if their servings are in lots of 4 instead of 3 servings for some dishes. Tea is expensive in that every hot water top up is counted too ($2/top up) Edit: Came here for dinner. Some dishes were very good; the rest were just average. Stand out dish was the roasted pork belly (siew yoke). It is hands down the best siew yoke I've eaten in NZ and everyone else on my table of 10 agreed. The let down is their service was super slow and the dishes were served in a staggered manner. This kills the momentum and fun in eating as we'd be nibbling on one dish while waiting for the next one which comes 10-15 minutes later. Wait staff apologised profusely and were very courteous throughout. However, it still affected the eating experience. Price was reasonable at $26 pp for dinner. Cheaper than lunch/yum cha. As a Cantonese person and lover of yum cha, the family and I think this is the best yum cha place in Auckland! A little but fancy but the dumplings and rice rolls are so good. They do great dinner too. The plum sauce ribs are divine - try them if you like sweet and sour pork. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
